DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Tape Libraries with LTO Generation 3 tapes shall be with No. of drives-2, Native Capacity-400 GB, Compressed Capacity-800 GB, Native Transfer Rate-80 MBPS & Compressed Transfer Rate -160 MBPS.

2. Tape Libraries with LTO Generation 4 tapes shall be with No. of drives-2, Native Capacity-800 GB, Compressed Capacity-1600 GB, Native Transfer Rate-120 MBPS & Compressed Transfer Rate -240 MBPS.

3. All the items covered under schedule 1 to 8 shall include one data Cable , one cleaning cartridge and one data cartridge

4. All the item under schedule 1 to 3 will be with Standard individual back up software to run on Windows or Linux or Unix Servers as applicable.The items under schedule 4 to 8 will be with Enterprise class backup software to run on Windows or Linux or Unix Servers as applicable , with built-in 5 Heterogeneous LAN Clients to backup Windows/Linux/Unix based Servers as per choice of user.

5. For Registration of suppliers ,the supplier shall furnish manufacturer's test reports for the capacity and transfer rate as applicable .It will be sufficient for the firms to get themselves registered for a single configuration for each media type against each schedule,to become eligible for other configurations of the same media. No separate registration shall be required for the Media and add on items if a firm is registered for devices covered under schedule 1 to 10.

6. The supplier shall furnish at the time of pre-despatch inspection , manufacturer test certificate for each item/serial no. against schedule 1 to 10 and manufacturer test certificate in case of Media may be for a batch.

7. During pre despatch inspection , the supplier shall demonstrate apart from other functional tests, the capacities of data storage and transfer rate at least upto 80% of the specified figures.
