With two faculty members, developed undergraduate major and full curriculum in
Entrepreneurship; program begun in 1999 and in 2006 & 2007, program ranked 5th in the U.S. by Entrepreneur Magazine in partnership with The Princeton Review.
With three faculty members, created Leadership major and new curriculum that replaced Management major in 1999
Worked with marketing faculty to revise Marketing major courses and to create six semester credit hour marketing research course linked to capstone course in the major Hired 10 tenure-track faculty members, 1998 – 2003, with 7 remaining on the faculty
today
Started, coordinated, and ran Asia Study Abroad Program, 1998 – 2004; continued coordinating and running program after leaving department chair position 2005 – 2006, 2008, 2010; program is a semester-long business focused undergraduate summer study abroad program across 7 Asian countries
Created pre-registration process for Marketing majors to ensure access to seats in marketing major courses highly demanded by Arts & Sciences majors; result was Marketing majors could graduate within the usual four-year, eight semester window Created and piloted integrated Business Core courses combining marketing, operations
management, and finance
