GeeGee Allen is very ill with COVID-19! She was taken to the emergency room at Baylor/Dallas last evening. She remains in a room in the ER until another

room is available. No phone calls, please! GeeGee’s

daughters, Jennie and Kristie, and their husbands

al-so have COVID. Please continue to lift them in prayer.

Wayne and Eleanor Eastep, parents of Molly Newton have both tested positive for COVID.

Molly’s father was taken to the emergency room this

morning with fears that he was having a heart attack. Thankfully, he did not have a heart attack, but he does have COVID pneumonia.

Dorothy Brown is now undergoing rehab at the Villages of Lake Highland. She had fallen and was hospitalized before going to rehab. Cards may be sent to her at: Dorothy Brown, Villages of Lake Highlands, 8615 Lullwater Dr., Room 111, Dallas, TX 75238 .

Our sympathy is extended to Johnny and Donna

Dyer, Darra Murti and their family on the death of

Johnny’s father and Darra’s grandfather, Travis Lee

Dyer, who passed away on January 8. A memorial

service will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, Texas at 12:00 noon on January 16. A family visitation will be held prior to the funeral at

the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:45 AM. Burial will

follow at the city cemetery in Lometa, Texas.

Lynn Hooper is now at home after being hospital-ized with COVID Pneumonia. Please keep Lynn and Tracy in your prayers.

Jimmy Hooten has been hospitalized at Richard-son Methodist for a week with a severe infection in his spine. He has had surgery and is receiving heavy doses of antibiotics. Cards may be sent to

aunt, Anita Orr, a member at Centerville Road

Church of Christ. Graveside services were today at 1:00 PM at Windom Cemetery.

Gallo-way and their family on the death of Alice’s 97 year-old

father, Harrell Struck, who died from complications of

COVID-19. Graveside services will be held on

Satur-day, January 16 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Scurry, TX.

Cindy Johnson and three of her siblings have tested

positive for COVID-19. Cindy has been moved to ICU

and is on a ventilator at Richardson Methodist Hospital. Please keep all of them in your prayers.

Our sympathy is extended to the friends and family of

Martha Liles, who passed away on January 10.

Sparkman Crane Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. A graveside service for Martha will be

held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Hickory Grove Cemetery, FM 137, Petty, TX 75470. Cards may

Mary King requests prayers for her 25 year-old

nephew, Jonathan Vinson, who is hospitalized in

Colorado and is on a ventilator.

Brad Johnson, our missionaries in Australia,

and their family on the death of Ronya’s father,

Ronald Kendrick. It is not certain that Ronya

will be able to travel to the US for her father’s

services. The memorial service will be Friday, January 15, at 5:00 PM at Highland Park Church of Christ in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. For those not attending in person, the service

will be live-streamed through the church’s

mother, Peggy Linton, has been released from the hospital. Denise will be staying with

her until she regains her strength. Paul’s brother,

Kenneth, also seems to be improving. Please keep

Dortha (Dot) Poole, who passed away on January 7 at

the age of 100. The funeral service will be at Restland’s

Abbey Chapel on Friday, January 15, at 2:00 PM with a viewing prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. The service will be Live Streamed. Dot was a charter member of Saturn Road when the church began in 1956. Cards may be sent to her children at the following
