2 www.amnet-systems.com www.amnet-systems.comThe Role of Amnet in High-Speed Digital Publishing
Publishers require an integrated yet flexible solution that can manage all of their content requirements. However, a one-size-fits-all approach may not be the right answer for certain clients. Due to our extensive experience working with a wide range of prominent publishers, Amnet has recognized this predicament and offers customized high-speed digital publishing solutions for different types of publishers.
Amnet’s High-Speed Digital Publishing Service uses refined and fine-tuned processes to ensure that publishing schedules can be condensed in order to publish a book title within weeks. Amnet provides content management and production services seamlessly and consistently via its domain expertise and as per industry standards and expectations.
We can tweak our existing manpower resources to meet the requirements and challenges that are associated with a specific project, without compromising on our high levels of productivity and quality. We shoulder the entire project management process, from planning to implementation, working and coordinating with our customers on every single aspect that has a direct effect on the success of the project.
Amnet executes the editorial processes via our US-based copyeditors, and these processes are supervised by highly experienced team of editorial project managers. A standard-length book can be copyedited for author or publisher review in just three weeks. The US team works with the offshore production team on composition and e-book requirements. The final output files for print, e-distribution, and archival XML can be simultaneously produced at quickly, consistently, and inexpensively.
It is worth noting that this high-speed digital workflow is but one potential model and can be further custom-ized to specific client needs in consultation with the production editor. For example, additional time can be included for the client to review sample edits, design samples, or if other adjustments to timeframes proposed are required on the publisher’s end for their convenience.
Another important feature of this service is the provision of a portal that is used by publishers, copy editors, and production for seamless movement of manuscripts, copyedited manuscripts, final EPUB files, and print PDF. The portal also contains a dashboard that allows clients to view the progress of their projects, from manuscript to final delivery.

2 www.amnet-systems.com www.amnet-systems.comHigh-Speed Digital Publishing Service
We have successfully demonstrated a time-saving rate of 67% by bringing down the industry-standard duration of a full-service project from 3 months to just 1 month. This reduction is possible due to additional allocation of resources for most of the processes in the workflow; in fact, the comparison ratio between the Normal Workflow and High-Speed Workflow for allocation of resources is 1:4. With more resources working simultaneously on different processes, Amnet is able to manage higher volumes within shorter turnaround times.
Inputs: Raw Manuscript, Copyedited Manuscript, and specifications, if any.
