“PLAYERS”  TRACK  OVERVIEW

 

 

The “Players” Track is a series of 3 interactive learning sessions. Each session (Pre-Game, Game Day, and Post-Game) is designed to provide hands-on, practical experience in managing a complete recruiting plan using modern recruiting technologies.

Sessions are team-based, providing unique opportunities for networking, best practice sharing, and ideation. Sessions include team meetings in Stadium Suites to plan and execute strategy. Teams will also participate in simulations that include a modern career fair and a experiential marketing event that is candidate focused. To maximize each session experience, “Players” will receive an iPad to use for completing web-based tasks, reviewing results, and managing tasks. Participants may also wish to bring their laptop computer, although not required. No other tools or software installation is required, and internet access is provided throughout the conference site.

Home of the Chicago Bears since 1971, Soldier Field is an iconic landmark that has also played host to such events as the 2012 NATO Summit, 1994 World Cup Matches, popular concerts, and Collegiate football games, and it appeared in the Clint Eastwood-directed movie Flags of Our Fathers. Unlike most conference sessions and workshops, the Experiential Learning Sessions are team-based, hands-on learning sessions designed to help users learn by doing. Throughout the sessions, participants will use iPads (provided), team sharing opportunities, and

RECSOLU coaches to gain insight into best practices for managing the recruiting process from start to finish. Participants can select from 1 of 2 tracks: General Managers Track or Players Track.

General  Managers  Track    

(Recruiting Leaders)

Participants in the General Managers track will focus on the management aspects of the recruiting processes, including:

Pre-Game (Plan)

•  Using RECSOLU systems to manage a strategic plan, school selection, and

identify past recruiting events and conferences that have provided highest ROI and are rated as best events for sourcing qualified, diversified talent.

Game Day (Execute)

•  Using RECSOLU software and apps to gain real-time access to dashboards and

results, for evaluating recruiter and event results, and for tracking expenses.

Post Game (Review)

•  Using RECSOLU systems to review results, produce reports for leadership and

business partners, measure ROI, and track budget results

Players  Track  

(Recruiters and Coordinators)

Participants in the Recruiters and Coordinators Track will focus on the actions and tasks associated with managing a complete recruiting process, from sourcing to hiring, including:

•  Using RECSOLU systems to manage employer branding, candidate sourcing and

outreach, social media presence, event checklists, and initial event scheduling – including managing staff invites.

Game Day (Recruit & Assess)

University of Illinois College of Engineering professors and administrators Raymond L. Price, and Bruce A.
