The ITT Online Support Package is a cost effective, blended learning product that allows Trainee Teachers and all involved in Teacher Education / Training to share common resources.
It is a unique online experience for Trainees, providing a clear learning guide using interactive video, associated resources, online tools and functions, comprehensive evidencing of Teachers’ Standards, peer communication and distance-based assessment / feedback.
It supports training for any age group / subject and any type of teacher training organisation bring-ing continuity between School Direct Organisations and their partner ITT Providers.
It is online software that encourages institutions to contribute their own unique resources, speciali-sation and adaptations and then disseminate these amongst their training partners.
It is a resource saving mechanism that allows providers to focus their training by considerably reducing the need for on-campus time, external teaching / learning resources, travel and indirect costs.
It provides Trainees with an abundance of resources, tools and functions including interactive videos and QTS evidencing with target tracking, an electronic portfolio for professional knowledge, electronic forms, a meeting recorder / viewer and comprehensive progress history.
It provides Tutors with unique tools for tutorial booking, facilitation and tracking, statistical analysis of Trainee and course evaluation progress, communication tools, PDF-based statistical reports, elec-tronic assignment set up and marking and much more.

VIDLEARN™ have a well established, highly successful background in delivering online Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses. We have used this experience together with our collaboration with senior professionals in Initial Teacher Training to offer the ITT Online Support Package.
The ITT Online Support Package is completely browser-based and fully serviced by VIDLEARN™. This means that you do not have to immerse yourself in technology to use the system and also that you do not have to include your own computer specialists in the delivery, support or maintenance of the system.
VIDLEARN™ include its legendary 24 hour support with this system. We never use automated emails, with experienced VIDLEARN™ professionals answering each query individually and 99% of our queries are successfully resolved within 15 minutes.

The ITT Online Support Package focuses on providing up to the minute statistics and PDF reports for the tutor team. The “My Tasks” section makes retrieving information, marking, scheduling and lesson observation reports very easy. My Tasks contains the following functions:

THE QTS EVIDENCE TOOL
We’ve put a great deal of time and resources into producing a great QTS Evidence Tool. This tool is a tabular list of the Teachers’ Standards that allow Trainees to upload, assign, monitor, view and print evidence in support of the Teachers’ Standards or any generic headings that you may wish to define (such as pre-ITT experience). The Teachers’ Standards are also mapped to the appropriate QTS Standards for continuity.
The QTS Evidence Tool allows Trainees to upload evidence in support of the Teachers’ Standards, select the strength of evidence from a pre-defined menu and assign the evidence to other Teachers’ Standards if appropriate.
Finally the Trainee can select in which category the evidence should appear in their portfolio from a selection of, for instance, Professional Knowledge, Subject Studies and Professional Practice. The Tutor Team have access to all entries in the QTS Evidence Tool via the Evidence Review Tool. The QTS Evidence Tool is available as a standard tool under “My Resources” for Trainees and under “My Tasks” for the Tutor Team. However, evidencing to the QTS Evidence Tool is also available as an interactive tool while using such functions as meeting reporting, lesson observation review and target tracking. This allows Trainees to assign evidence immediately after uploading or inputting it. The QTS Evidence Tool outputs directly to the Trainee Portfolio which can be created dynamically in PDF format at any time during the course. The portfolio is created by category ( e.g. Professional Knowledge, Subject Studies and Professional Practice), by Teachers’ Standard within that category and then chronologically.

THE TARGET TRACKER
THE TARGET TRACKER
The Target Tracker comprises a set of functions available to Trainees and Tutors that facilitate the setting, monitoring and reviewing of targets set by Tutors during the process of Initial Teacher Train-ing.
Targets can be set by Tutors using the following ITT Online processes: Evidence Review

Tutors can set targets at three distinct levels: General targets for a Trainee
Targets for a Trainee that are linked to a specific Teachers’ Standard
Targets for a Trainee that are linked to a specific piece of submitted evidence
Wherever Tutors see the “Set Target” or “Set Next Target” button, they can display a context sensitive target setting function.

COMMUNICATE
COMMUNICATE
VIDLEARN™ Communicate is central to all of our online courses and is very popular with both Train-ees and Tutor Teams. Communicate seeks to enhance (not replace) communication between the Trainees and their Tutors.
Communicate comes complete with 4 distinct tools that promote peer communication, provide an environment for remote tutorial booking, facilitation and logging and that enables quick communi-cation with the whole cohort and the Tutor Team.
Forum
The forum is a great way for Trainees to share problems and ideas and has proved very popular in the past. Forums are usually “local” within a cohort but can be expanded up to national level if required.
Announce
Announce is a great way to quickly make the cohort aware of important changes and updates to the course. Great for regular updates and room changes!
Tutorials
Tutorials allow members of the Tutor Team to post tutorials electronically to individual trainees or the cohort. Trainees will then receive details of the venue and proposed nature of the tutorial together with the suggested medium (face-to-face, email, telephone or Skype). Following the tuto-rial, Tutors have the option to log the details on the system.

Functions Explained
Keyword revision PDF: This downloads a PDF revision sheet containing all chapters and keywords. Show current slide: Will display the slide that is currently showing in the recorded presentation. Search: Returns every chapter in the playlist that includes your search criteria.
Chapters: Lists all chapters in a recording - clicking on a chapter navigates to it at lightning fast speed.
Player controls: Including chapter select, recording select, full screen, low or high definition and audio control. Resources bar: A carousel that lists each recording in the playlist together with associated documents and links. The player area: Crystal clear recordings delivered unbuffered and available in two resolutions to suit bandwidth.

VIDLEARN™ produce affordable online options for education through long term investment and staged payment plans. We have compelling evidence to suggest that investment during Year One of a course will reap rewards in subsequent years and we have implemented this model into the ITT Online Support Package.
Costing is per Trainee enrolled on the system to ensure that your liability is kept to a minimum. The cost is spread across the course to allow close budgeting.
You will have a requirement in Year One for educational and technical consultancy to help you cus-tomise your bespoke package, together with help developing resources and in particular, videos. This would usually be a time and financial burden, but with the VIDLEARN™ ITT Online Support Package we cover all of this and it is contained within the per Trainee enrolled cost in Year One. In Year One, each Trainee enrolled will accrue 1 hour of consultancy credit (educational or technical) and one hour of video credit.
Video hours can include video acquired by VIDLEARN™ at your premises or your existing videos uploaded to us. In either case we will add slides at relevant points, add chapters for lightning fast navigation, add keywords for searching and focused revision, add associated documents and exter-nal links and produce the revision sheet. Should you want live events recorded and made part of the package, these can go on the system as “available” at a date in the future and included when they are ready.
Year Two (and subsequent years) sees a dramatic reduction in the price and your Trainees have a completed package with all of your institution-specific resources in place to be enjoyed for several
