Kids age 4* thru grade 6 will have a blast learning about who Jesus really is! Trace it back to the facts! The evidence is clear. The proof is all right here! Through every clue, encounter, and investigation kids will discover, decide, and defend the truth about Jesus! We would love to have your child(ren) join us on this fun and incredible journey to discover who Jesus is!
If you did not get a chance to preregister online, registration will be available the mornings of July 2122 at the door.
Every day, children will be in agedbased classrooms and participating in activities with other children while learning about who Jesus is. I certainly hope you will consider having your child(ren) join us for this amazing ministry. Last year, Ox Hill taught over 150 children, so please enroll today!
The cost is free, but children must be registered in order to attend. If you need help registering, please call the church office at 7033785555 or contact Garrett Wolf with any questions. Also, recruitment for volunteers has begun. If you are willing and able to volunteer at any time during VBS, please visit our online volunteer page for more information. We cannot wait for this amazing adventure to begin!

Ox Hill Summer Nights are fun filled evenings for families and their children, ages 4*+. Each evening will have a time of Fellowship, Bible study, Crafts, and
Recreation beginning with a free family style dinner while our families enjoy BINGO! Following dinner, the children will listen and participate in a Bible story where they will learn how to know, explore, and serve God. This year the kids will be be making fun musical instruments during craft time and following crafts the children will head outside to recreation and games together. After dinner on Friday, families are invited to join in our family movie night to close out OHS!

Parents are encouraged to participate during Ox Hill Summer Nights or they can just relax after dinner and enjoy
the hospitality. The children will be divided into agebased recreation groups each night. I certainly hope you will consider having your child(ren) join us for this amazing ministry. Last year, Ox Hill taught over 45 children, so please enroll today!
We will also be encouraging the kids to donate canned goods and food items to Western Fairfax Christian Ministry during the week.

Children's Sunday School
Ox Hill offers children's Sunday School classes for
children of all ages that enable kids to internalize Bible truths and apply them to
life by hearing, knowing, and experiencing God's word. Join
us Sunday mornings at 9:40 AM for Bible Study!
Kids in grades 16 participate in our "Growing Together in Christ" incentive program designed to encourage daily Bible reading, Sunday School attendance, and bringing Bibles to Sunday School. Upon

Music and Worship Arts Camp

All children who have completed grades 412 are invited to join us as we participate in the Virginia Baptist Music and Worship Arts Camp. This wonderful trip allows students to learn and get first hand music experience from music ministers and professional teachers from across the state. Students get to pick their different
activities to participate in including guitar, stomp, piano, vocal, puppets, missions, and many more. The cost of the trip is $225 and includes all music, lodging, meals, camp shirt, transportation, etc. Contact Paul Brill for more information.

Hello/Goodbye Fellowship

This is a fellowship for our rising 7th graders as we officially welcome them, saying "Hello," into our CrossWalk youth ministry. Students and their families are welcome to join the rest of our youth at the Winding Brooke community pool for a time of fun, fellowship, and relaxation. We will grill out with hot dogs and hamburgers as well as say "Goodbye" to our recent senior graduates and now departing college students. Please RSVP so we can place you on the guest list.
OHBC Clothing Giveaway

During our Vacation Bible School and other activities, we will be collecting both children and adult clothing as well as toys, school supplies, and other items to distribute at our annual Clothing Giveaway. This is an event where we provide an opportunity for families to get such items for the upcoming year. Please contact the church office if you have a donation to provide or if you would like to volunteer for the giveaway or please arrive prior to our start time on Saturday morning to participate.

Our hope is children will be encouraged to continue learning the Bible while creating an serving attitude. To date, the children's SS department has earned enough points to purchase backpacks, sweaters, and shoes for three children at the School of Joy in India. Our goal is to be able to provide the same for a total of 10 children by the end of August.

Youth Camping Trip

For those rising 7th graders, this is their first official invitation to a youth retreat! We will be camping at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, a beautiful beachcampground. We will depart Thursday morning and return Sunday evening. Our activities include going to the beach as well as visiting Busch Gardens on Friday. The cost is $110 and includes all meals, lodging, and park ticket. This is one of our most
popular trips! This year, during our trip, we will be starting a new Bible Study series specifically looking at the Parables of Jesus earthly stories with spiritual truths. Please contact Garrett with questions or to RSVP.
Middle School Madness at The Adventure Park

Save the date for this exciting event for all of our rising 6th 8th graders!
We will be headed to The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring Park in
Maryland where we will experience their treetop adventure course! This aerial forest adventure is fun, exciting and safe for all participants. There are 13 separate trails of varying levels of difficulty. Each trail has zip lines and "bridges" between tree platforms made of rope, cable and wood configurations creating over 190 unique challenges. This will be an experience they will not want to miss! Cost is $35 and a RSVP is required.
Fairfax County Computer Learning Center Partnership
The Chantilly Computer Learning Center is a partnership between Ox Hill and Fairfax County were the county operates a full day camp during the summer for
students in grades 1 through 12 at our facility! The Summer program began on Monday, June 30 and run through Friday, August 22. We are excited to offer a full day, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM, camp where the kids will be active in sports, recreation, learning activities, and field trips every Monday and Thursday. Breakfast and Lunch will also be provided for those students who are eligible and registrations for the camps will be offered on a weekly basis. Please visit http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ncs/ for more information about the various camps and centers that Fairfax County will offer this summer. The camp is a wonderful opportunity for you kids to stay active and supervised over summer while participating in amazing activities. Spaces are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis, so please contact Torrey Piper, the director today!
CLCP is always looking for volunteers, including teens who need to earn service hours. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Torrey Piper, the CLCP director. We are also joining with the MOTT Community Center on several activities including starting our own youth basketball team and attending evening activities on Fridays! Until the summer begins, our typical

The reason God wants to know what you and I are thinking is so He knows how to bring you closer to Him as a friend. The most important thought to Him is knowing if you love Him with you whole heart, mind, and soul. But, the coolest part is because God knows your thoughts, you can talk to Him silently and He will hear every word of your prayer!

Mother's Day Out
A Preschool Ministry at Ox Hill Baptist Church
The Mother's Day Out (MDO) program of Ox Hill Baptist Church is a church based ministry that serves preschoolers and their families in our community. MDO strives to provide learning experiences suited to the developmental level of each child and to stimulate their growth socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Christian teachers provide loving care and instruction to
preschoolage children while allowing their parents the opportunity to enjoy some child freetime each week, between the hours of 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
The ministry operates during the same time as Fairfax County Schools and we reopen again in September. Presently we have a few openings!
