8a. This District is the provider of Adult Education. Its service coverage duplicates the district
boundaries and its administrative and instructional facilities are part of the District. As such, it
provides an important and powerful outreach to our local community. Many of its students are
either parents and/or siblings of our District’s K-12 student population. The advancements
achieved through the Adult Education program have a direct positive effect on the academic
achievement of our District’s students.
Every adult learner has access to and use of technology in instructional settings. Technology
supports achievement, enabling learners to be creative thinkers, effective communicators and
problem solvers, as well as independent, competent, and contributing members of a family, a
dynamic workforce, and a global community.
