Gujarat Mineral Research & Development Society is a registered society working under Industries & Mines department, Government of Gujarat. The Society is working for Geological Exploration, System Audit of mines (functional & financial Audit),Royalty evasion etc. as a part of Mineral administration, under the board and Commissioner (Geology & Mining) who is the Chief Executive Officer of GMRDS.

Society is desirous to recruit following administrative& technical personnel.

Written applications in prescribed format (available on website) are invited from the eligible candidates including retired Govt. /P.S.U. Officers having the required qualifications for the post mentioned below. (During office hours 10:30 to 18:10) Candidates should submit their applications (without any enclosures/testimonials) at GMRDS office within 15 days from the date of publishing of this advertisement. Essential Qualification:



Post Graduate in any discipline, having minimum 10 years of professional Experience of

class-I officer or equivalent with Govt./P.S.U OR corporate sector.



Excellent Communication skill.



Knowledge of Gujarati language is must.

Desirable Qualification:



M.B.A/L.L.B



Experience of Administration in Government/Semi-Government Organisation.



Good working knowledge of computer& related software.

Age limit:



M.Phil. /Ph.D. in (pure/applied) Geology/M.E.(Mining)/M.Tech.(mining)



Experience of Mineral Administration/ Mineral Exploration in Government/semi

Government Organisation/P.S.U/Industry.



Experience as a head of Research project at regional /National level.



Good working knowledge of computer& related software.

M.Sc. Chemistry (Inorganic/Analytical) having 10 years of professional experience in a

laboratory of Govt/Company/P.S.U./Industry/Mines.

Desirable Qualification:



M.Phil. / Ph.D.(Inorganic/Analytical) Chemistry



Working knowledge of computer and related software.





Retired officers of Government/semi Government Organisation/P.S.U interested in

training.



Good working knowledge of computer& related software.

1) This is an assignment base work & person is expected to take charge of entire training requirement for imparting training to freshly recruited workforce.

Essential Qualification:



BE/B.Tech(Computer Sci./IT)/ME/M.Tech (Computer Sci./IT)/Msc.(IT)/MCA having Min.

2 Years of Experience



Excellent Communication skills, As well as well-versed with IT/e-governance

software/system of modules.



Knowledge of Gujarati language is must.

Desirable Qualification:



Having sound knowledge in managing dealing with IT operations and e-governance

initiative in Govt. set-up

having minimum 02 years of professional Experience.

Professional Experience in Geology OR mining sector.

General Note:

1) All these posts except training consultant are purely on ad-hoc and contractual basis & on a fixed remuneration as per the society's rules, initially for 11 months (extendable up to a maximum period of 3 Years).

2) Training Consultant's role is "assignment basis" and on "need basis".

3) Retired Additional Collector/Deputy Secretary can apply for the Post No(1), if they meet with other criteria.

4) Only person with sound health & clean career need to apply.

5) Candidate may be selected by conducting written test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview (if needed).

6) All experience requirements is termed as Post-Qualification Experience.

7) Retired person's selection is subject to approval of board and State Govt.'s. Policy for "Re-Employment after Retirement" for contractual positions.

8) Retired person's remuneration will be fixed as per the approval of board and State Govt.'s. Policy for "Re-Employment after Retirement" contractual positions.

9) Retired persons (Superannuation/V.R.S.) who has worked in similar categories/cadres will be preferred if they meet with other criteria.
