The smart card calculator has been introduced for a number of reasons, the main ones being

to increase the security of our software and to take away the need for customers to use our web site

for security.

Over the last 2-3 years we have increased security on our software, to stop unauthorized

counterfeit manufacturers copying our hardware and software. This has had a negative effect on our

loyal customers, who are forced to go to the AD web site to obtain security codes. This can be diffi cult

if internet access is not available or the mobile phone coverage is weak. This system overcomes the

need to go to the AD web site.

How does it work? The current software when connected to a vehicle will give you a security

outcode and a security incode is required to continue to use the software. This new system will enable

customers to obtain this incode without using our web site, and no internet or mobile phone connection

is required. The calculator is 100% stand alone.
