2. Outpatient Mental Health: Interns

will provide mental health

counseling services to children, adolescents and adults in an outpatient office setting. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Work will take place mainly at the Berea office.

Also, there are several

prac/internship slots available in the Residential Treatment Facility. This site located at Berea Children’s Home in Berea and is a Partial

Hospitalization group program

(PHP).

This site also offers a Diversity in Mental Health Fellowship Program. This program is a paid internship position of $5,000 to a student of color. The program requires a separate application, which can be requested at the number above. Students are encouraged to apply for both an internship position as well as the Fellowship.

The Special Needs/Chronically

Mentally Ill (CMI) Program for

Homeless Veterans is a

comprehensive program of

intensive time-limited case

management, clinical treatment,

peer support and permanent

housing assistance that is designed to result in the long-term community reintegration of homeless veterans who are diagnosed with chronic

mental illness and substance

abuse. The duties and

responsibilities can be flexible to meet your interests and needs and

include diagnostic assessment,

individual therapy, group therapy, and case management. Flexible hours: 7 days a week 24 hours. Population: homeless veterans with chronic mental illness and chemical dependency issues, male and female, 25-60 years old.
