The History
5 The Gravina Group puts down its roots in Abruzzo, Italy and it has been
working for over forty years in different sectors of public and private business. The Group is composed of various companies, and has a total turnover of 20 million euro and can count on the collaboration of about 100 people in the four offices of: Roma, Castel di Sangro (AQ),
L’Aquila (AQ) and Civitanova Marche (MC).
Thanks to a constant commitment in various business activities, its progressive growth has gone hand in hand with the research for professional innovation, never losing sight of its social commitment and respect for the environment.
This business philosophy has always characterized the need for the Group to be a leader in social responsibility, particularly in the field of sports and diffusion of culture.
ARTEMUSICOLTURAFoundation was born from the will of the Gravina Group to realize and distribute cultural initiatives; it gathers together businessmen and men of culture both in Italy and abroad.
Certified company ISO 9001 – Bureau Veritas Certification n. 197305/Accredia MIC S.r.l. is the main company of the Gravina Group. Operating since the Seventies in the public works sector, the company has been standing out for having executed significant civil works such as roads, hydraulic systems and plants, paying a great attention to safety and to protection of the environmental heritage.
RIGA S.r.l. > Immobiliare RIGA S.r.l. has been dealing for more than twenty years with high-profile real estate projects all over the Italian territory, from design to construction of buildings with high quality standards and focusing on construction methods adressed to energy saving and bio-architecture.

MOLINO S.r.l. is a real estate company specialized in construction of large housing estates and it works mainly in the Marche area.

Consorzio Stabile LEONARDO grows out of the collaboration of the company MIC Srl and other leading companies in Abruzzo involved in the design and construction of great public works, especially civil works. The consortium has the quality certification ISO 9001 and SOA with unlimited categories for design and construction.
There is also a specific component of absolute belonging to the local community and it is the fact that our Group, our companies are born from this silent, hard-working, cosy Apennine province: the simple concreteness, the hard work of our people are the bedrock from which we were born; the respect for traditions and the work of our fathers the stone on which we based our business philosophy. For these reasons, or more precisely, on the basis of these links, it does not seem useful nor possible to us to distinguish the core values of the Group from the highest cultural, artistic and historical expressions of our land.

Fostering relationships with the territory in which it operates means many things to a company. First of all, the importance of the economic component: creating jobs, wealth and development, is the first and direct impact that the Company generates towards the territory in which it is settled. The first but not the only one.
In fact, the word “business” must first of all means, to us and to everyone, the ability to enhance men and resources, to ensure the success of our commitments. At the same time, other factors such as the need to affect the social and cultural environment with a system of initiatives carried out for the benefit of the community in which we operate, contribute to move us and to motivate us.
The real growth of a company can never happen without a parallel progress of the community, but this process of virtuous impact on the territory cannot be entrusted only to the redistribution of employment, evenues and profits. It is also necessary to seize and to contribute to the enhancement of those cultural moments in which the community identifies itself. Therefore, in agreement with the declared key issues, any community will be able to deal positively with any future, and we with it.

11 The passion in designing and constructing residential buildings has always been the driving force
behind the Gravina Group that, while developing its own know-how by executing infrastructural works of any type, has remained linked to the construction of buildings, leaving an indelible mark on the land. There are many works that have been carried out over the years, from the private and residential real estate sector to the public buildings sector, always characterized by the same passion, the same attention to details, the attention and respect to safety and environment.
This is what made the Gravina Group today inseparably linked to the quality of living.
Having its roots in an area characterized by high seismicity, the Group has always been in the forefront of research for new technologies to be applied to buildings. Another aspect of well-building is the energy saving intended as living comfort and economic saving: so all the realizations are characterized by low energy consumption associated with high standard of living quality, as for the construction of the buildings “Le Betulle” certificated by CASACLIMA.
Moreover, thanks to the strong corporate structure in paying the same attention to every phase of the work, the Group has recently created a specialized area for the realization of civil and industrial plants providing also consulting to solve complex engineering issues.

waterworks and gas pipelines, roads and bridges, consolidations and biological engineering works, fluvial works and more. Today the company develops solutions for indoor and outdoor sports and provides the solution to any problem of organization and construction of sports facilities, thanks to the partnerships with leading companies in the industry. ARTEMUSICOLTURA FOUNDATION
61 The Gravina Group has always been associated with sports and culture in our region.
The reason for this commitment lies in the passion for sports and in the sense of social responsibility of the Group that has always wanted to support sport at all levels, from amateur to professional, particularly focusing on youth. Who does not remember the tale of the “Miracle of Castel di Sangro”? Currently, the Group is the main sponsor of L’Aquila Rugby.
In addition, the Gravina Group has promoted cultural initiatives among which the most relevant is the creation of the musical “The Divine Comedy” that today has got more than a million spectators and is involved in the Italian and foreign tour. With this work, more than 500,000 students have been able to see the masterpiece of Dante Alighieri with a spectacular and dynamic approach through dance and projections. The collaboration with the three-time Oscar winner Carlo Rambaldi, the creator of ET, has allowed this work to have a great success among the public and to achieve important awards such as the Gold Medal of the Dante Alighieri Foundation and the 2008 musical award.
To support important cultural events, the Gravina Group gave rise to the Artemusicoltura Foundation, which promotes, organizes and supports cultural initiatives both nationally and internationally.
