The renewables sector has undergone great growth in Spain until attaining a prime position in the world ranking.

Photovoltaic energy has been the main driving force behind this success, making the Spanish business sector an undisputed reference in the network connection of over 3,500 MW at the end of 2009. Proener renovables has been one of the main protagonists of this scenario. The development of a business Project based on a highly specialised staff and the correct administration of the resources have put our company on the photovoltaic map nationally and allowed it to maintain the f irm commitment to become an international reference. Our expansion process has followed the steps of globalisation of the market and this has led us to lay some

major business bases in countries like Italy and France, where we have been able to develop large-scale projects and continue to look in this way for new markets where we can provide our “know how”.

Proener renovables is a commitment of the Proener Group, a vital value for contributing to a more sustainable energy model by way of engineering, construction, operation and of electricity based on clean energy sources.

Its main objective is to provide a high-quality ser vice from the initial design stage to the star t-up of the installation, also involving the management of materials and the actual implementation of the project.

All our projects are undoubtedly a clear commitment to technological innovation with quality and safety as a reference.

PURCHASE MANAGEMENT

11

The Purchases Depar tment of Proener Renovables constitutes one of the vital axes for Project development. It works in close collaboration with the fields of Engineering, Quality and Construction.

* * *

The evolution of the Purchases Depar tment since the star t has also facilitated its positioning on the market and the increase in its competitiveness, as in all modern business fields the professionalisation of the investments becomes vital for the development of the business.

Owing to its strategic function within the organisation of Proener Renovables, the professionals going to make up the depar tment have a very high level of training in their field of specialisation.

MISSION

The search for national and

international suppliers capable of supplying the various technical materials used at the photovoltaic installations: modules, inverters, structures, conductors, safety systems, transformers etc.

Supervision in the manufacturing process, carrying out exhaustive quality controls based on the high level demanded by Proener.

Supervision in the manufacturing process, carrying out exhaustive quality controls based on the high level demanded by Proener.

Logistics management both for national and international products as the supervision of transport, proceedings and storage of materials is key for meeting the terms for completion agreed with the client.

(12)

12

The Construction department of PROENER Renovables has been charged with picking up the baton of implementing an installation Project from its inception to its start-up and its fi nal closure.

It is endowed with a staff structure which is solid, qualifi ed and capable of adapting to any situation or place where the installation is carried out, and this feature makes it the ideal partner for the construction of any photovoltaic installation. Its working system is based on integral management of the Project from a budgetary and technical perspective to get the most out of the work provided by each and every one of the people involved in the implementation of the installation.

INSTALLATIONS ON ROOF Construction on roofs allows the surface of the roofs and façades of multiple types of buildings to be used for the placement of an electrical generation plant. In this way it is managed to take advantage of a non-productive area exposed to the sun. to this end we have professionals with vast experience in this fi eld and with numerous

projects carried out.

Our experience in the photovoltaic fi eld as well as our to desire to develop and the growing interest in this type of installations has made it possible to sign important agreements for the construction of these installations on a “turnkey” basis with companies such as Endesa or the creation of specifi c companies for the development of this type of installations.

INSTALLATIONS ON ROOFS

Photovoltaic Installations on roofs where a fi xed support on the panels means a lower investment and allows the best return on building roofs

Enercaja is a company formed by Proener, Caja Rural de Segovia and Caja Rural de Ciudad Real.

By way of Enercaja, all-in solutions are provided for installations on roofs, from promotion to maintenance, including the fi nancing, design and construction thereof.

(13)

Fixed Photovoltaic Installations where a fi xed support on the panels means a lower investment..

Photovoltaic Installations with a double axis tracker which have a mobile structure which enables them to turn towards the sun at any time, obtaining considerably higher production.

The construction of photovoltaic parks on the ground has been one of the main objectives of PROENER since it started out.

It has plants distributed throughout Spain and countries like Italy and France, inter alia, and to date it has over 150 MW constructed.

Spain is a highly privileged geographic area for taking advantage of solar energy. Some areas are those with the greatest exposure in all of Europe. There are many hours of solar radiation which means higher yield, though photovoltaic technology may also take advantage of diffuse radiation on cloudy days. The bonus concession system per MWh of production for a guaranteed time period makes this sector one of the most attractive for national and foreign investors, particularly in those countries where there is regulated legislation. Proener has specialised in “turnkey” projects which includes the carrying out of all the Project stages from the promotion of sites to connection to the electrical system and its subsequent maintenance, also including the construction of its installation.

13

INSTALLATIONS ON THE GROUND

(15)

MAINTENANCE

15

The Photovoltaic Maintenance section is a mainstay of Proener Renovables.

Once the installation has been connected to the electrical network, the main objective is to obtain the maximum yield possible. To this end, it is vital to have a maintenance service in which to entrust such a major investment with a threefold objective:

To ensure the maximum yield of the installation,

To resolve the incidents in as short a time as possible.

To extend the working life of the installation by as many years as possible.

* * *

It is formed by highly qualifi ed staff teams whereof over half are qualifi ed Engineers. They are distributed nationwide, carrying out these tasks according to the planning and supervision of a specifi c technical department:

Operation and continuous

monitoring of the general operating parameters of the installations: radiation, radiation, yield.

Carrying out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance as all three are vital to ensure a long working life for any solar plant whether they are installations on the ground or on roofs.

Optimisation of the yield of the installation, obtaining the maximum radiation possible.

Integral management of the plant, thereby ensuring the extension of its working life and getting the most out of the investment.

Re-engineering. Advice to the client about any possible enhancements to be made to improve the radiation of its installation.

We provide these services both to installations with a fi xed structure as well as to plants with trackers and installations on roofs.

At PROENER Renovables we have set out to put our experience at the disposal of clients in the international market.

Aware of the challenge entailed by competing on other markets but confi dent in our capacities, we are already working actively in France and Italy.

PROENER Renovables is adapting to the reality of each country and offering, as a consequence, the services required in a continuous effor t to contribute solutions to our clients. Fur thermore, our advantages internationally as in Spain are the confi dence which our references convey and the quality of our services.

The objective with clients who operate worldwide is to expand our activities internationally in order to be able to provide them with solutions where they need them.

We want PROENER to be a global reference in the photovoltaic sector and to this end we are contributing

INTERNATIONALISATION

the resources required to our international depar tment which has not ceased to grow.

PROENER FRANCIA

PROENER started its construction activities in France in mid-2009. The high remuneration for plants on roofs in our neighbouring country has allowed the rapid development of the Photovoltaic Installations on agricultural and industrial buildings. It is in this market niche in which PROENER has built over 5 MW during the course of 2009 and 2010.

From our offi ces in Aix en

Provence we are continuing our expansion and we have an order book for 2011 of several MW both on roofs and on the ground. Our experience of over 150 MW constructed and our all-in offer, incorporating everything from construction engineering to the maintenance of plants, make PROENER an attractive partner for French investors.

(23)

Proener started the internationalisation process in 2008 when, with a structured and organised focus, it began a journey which has culminated in 2009 in the birth of Proener Servizi Italia, a company incorporated under Italian law which is wholly owned by the Proener Group.

2009 has run off in accordance with that foreseen in the previous year with the contracting of new resources both for the new offi ces in Milan as well as for the works.

The focus presiding over the fi rst stage of international expansion of the Group has been driven by clear objectives:

Presence in the territory;

Knowledge of the market;

Knowledge of national and international legislation;

Cooperation between the different Group entities to put at the disposal of the clients all the technical experience already accumulated in Spain;

Maximum attention to the quality of the service provided and of the product obtained.
