2 Introduction
The main objective of Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers is to get activities completed
efficiently and effectively with and through other people. To achieve this successfully requires certain skills to effectively handle the interplay of a number of factors including:
i. Situational factors; ii. Motivational factors iii. Skills factors;
iv. Experience factors; and v. Temperamental factors.
With increasing competition and limited/dwindling resources, managers and leaders are under tremendous pressure to deliver outstanding business results, especially good profits year after year. To continue to do well and deliver outstanding business results, it is imperative for managers to maximize the contributions of every individual employee in their teams. Command and control must give way to a much more subtle style of influencing which is focused on empowering individuals and helping to release their individual and collective energies.

Our approach (methodology) to training
We apply experiential techniques founded on leading edge concepts and principles which take into account the Ghanaian work cultures and practical experiences in our training programs to ensure that learning can be easily transferred to the workplace situations. We develop and use group and
personal learning activities that include role plays to offer practice of the skills during training. Participants to our Training Programs earn a Certificate of Competency in the area of training.

The main objective of the training on HPC is to equip managers with the skills to build effective relationships with their employees which:

iii. enhances understanding and focus on strengths to enable employees to develop and perform at their best.

The main objectives of the training on Management Principles and Practices are to increase both managers’ knowledge of management and managers’ ability to manage effectively.
