DESCRIPTION

Lion Tree lights have been manufactured with the end user in mind. Our lights can be used in vertical farming, as well as greenhouse indoor and tent growing.

Please contact us should you need any advice or assistance.

OPTICS AND LIGHT DISTRIBUTION

Loin Tree lights come equipped with 90/140 Degree Optical grade lenses, that focus the light where it is needed. With optimal spacing between modules we have allowed for the crossing of light, to create an even level of PPFD,

throughout the grow area. The lenses further protect the chip set, against moisture and dust ingress.

INSTALLATION OF FITTING

Before installing the fitting, please make sure the unit is not plugged in and the power is off.

After opening the box, please ensure all is in order, before use. Please feel free to contact us should you need any assistance.

Install light fitting at recommended height for plant cycle, take into consideration the PPFD Map to determine, the perfect placing of plants under the light footprint.

Use the hangers on the fitting to attach/ hang your light to a solid structure. Make sure the structure is strong enough to hold the fitting.

Lion Tree lights come with a South African 3 pin plug and is compliant with South African laws.

Do not cover the fins of the fitting at any time. The heat sink is designed to move heat away from the LEDs, obstructing this could lead to LED failure.

WARNING AND SAFETY

Do not open the light fitting at any time, as this causes risk of electrical shock as well as voiding the warranty on the fitting.

Never look directly into the light

Always use LED eye protection when working in the area, when the fitting is on. The user is responsible for installing the light to make sure it is safe and works correctly, should you have any doubts, please contact a qualified person to assist

with installation.

CLEANING OF FITTING

Please ensure that the fitting has been unplugged from the mains before, cleaning takes place.

Ensure the fitting has cooled down before cleaning.

Use a soft wet cloth to clean the lenses and body work. The lenses are made from polycarbonate, please be extra careful when cleaning the lenses. You could use a light soap mix to wipe them down with a soft damp cloth. Ensure lenses are clear

after. Don’t use solvents, window cleaner, chemicals that are aggressive. Lion Tree fittings are IP67 rated meaning, they will not be affected by over spray

from the grow environment.

Please don’t use abrasive materials on lenses.

Clean fitting in between every grow in order, to prevent cross contamination between crops.
