Welcome to the maintenance, custodial & grounds user guide for

the online work request site

Please refer to Web Work Module 8.3 Installation Guide for details about the installation of the Web Work Module software.

The user can access the web work application by the web address (URL) similar to

http://domfe.smc.edu/webworkmodule83/

The login page authenticates the user credentials and leads the valid application user to a menu of options. The standard application provides the users with menu selections to

Running Mainsaver Web Work Application

If the Web Work Software installation is configured to require user authentication using the login ID and password set in Mainsaver user profiles, the Login page is the first screen presented to the user.

Calendar lookup icon is available to assist with date selection.

(wkwrorg). After the contact info is saved, in subsequent requests, the originator can just type in his/her name then click on the icon to retrieve previously saved data. In addition, the lookup icon provides the capability to locate an originator record in the Personnel table (em). This feature and the validation of the originator name against the Personnel table are configurable. Please refer to the Installation Guide for more details. Phone Contact phone number

Department Department name This field was intended for web work request users who are not Mainsaver personnel, such as university students or city citizens. It identifies the group that the originator belongs to.

Email Email address This email address is used for notification when the work request is approved.

From the data list, the user can select a work request number to view its details. When the user clicks on the work request number, the application presents additional information in the same screen area but in different view, as seen in the next screen capture.
