CME Accreditation

The American College of Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American College of Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 24.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellations/Refunds

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing (fax, mail, or e-mail). Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone. A processing fee of $25.00 will be deducted from the member’s refund. Individuals who fail to attend the course (no-shows) will not be entitled to any refund.

Michigan Chapter–ACP Resident Member and Medical Student Member Abstract Competition

Clinical vignettes, research, and CQI/EBM abstracts prepared by Resident/Fellow Members and Medical.

Student Members have been submitted for both poster and oral presentation. Poster Presentations are being reviewed and scored on-line. Oral Presentations will be presented live via Zoom on Thursday, October 14, 2021. ALL poster abstracts will be on-line judging and not presented during the meeting.

One Resident/Fellow Member winner from each category (highest-score poster or oral) will be automatically accepted for a poster presentation at the Internal Medicine Meeting 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. The top-scoring Medical Student Member winner will be accepted for a poster presentation at Internal Medicine Meeting 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.

Resident/Fellow Oral and Poster Abstract Competition:

A total of 13 certificates will be awarded from the Michigan Chapter of the ACP in the following categories:

Research 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place oral 1st, 2nd and 3rd place poster Clinical Vignette 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place oral

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place poster CQI-EBM 1st place oral or poster Medical Student Poster Abstract Competition:

A total of 7 certificates will be awarded from the Michigan Chapter of the ACP in the following categories:
