We have a team of account managers (aka Chatalysts) who are all
based in North America. Each Chatalyst has undergone extensive
training in building bots, applying effective marketing strategies, and
leveraging neuromarketing best practices. The team keeps up to
date on current terms-of-service of Amazon, Facebook, Instagram,
Messenger, and SMS. They are a collaborative team of savvy,
creative, and smart individuals who work their hardest to build
powerful tools for your brand.
Nearly five years ago, the seeds of The Chat Agency were planted
when one of the founders, 7- figure Amazon seller Paul Baron,
launched a course for Amazon sellers on how to integrate Chat
Marketing into their businesses called Chat Marketing University
(CMU). Paul provided this education for people in the e-commerce
space to learn how to build and apply chat marketing funnels to help
them own their lists, launch and rank products, generate reviews, and
promote their brands in a revolutionary way. Between CMU, webinars,
podcasts, and international keynote speaking engagement, Paul
began to get inundated with requests for consulting and done-for-
you options. Fast forward to 2020 - Paul connected with Norm Farrar
and Shane Oglow to create an agency that offers services built on
their foundation of decades of marketing strategy, e-commerce
experience, and extensive experience in the Amazon space.

There are a lot of different options for driving traffic to your chat marketing funnel. Depending on the type of funnel, you can have QR codes, links, or pop-ups.
We use ManyChat. It is the best platform in our experience and we have working relationships with the MC team.
No! We can build the funnel in either Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct Messages. Also, within the funnel, we can collect any information you want including email addresses and phone numbers. When we do collect those we always also request an opt-in for future communication. You can send SMS and Email messages from inside the ManyChat platform!
Within Messenger and Instagram DM funnels, we always include a one-time notification request (OTNR) so you can send follow-up communication to your subscribers outside of the 24 hour window (per Facebook's TOS).
How hands-on do I need to be?
While we will obviously need to communicate with you to determine the funnels objectives and features, the bot itself is 100% built and maintained by our team. You can be as involved as little or as much as you prefer.

Who owns the funnel?
Who owns the subscribers?
What does the monthly retainer include?
You do! The ManyChat account is owned by you, therefore the subscribers are all yours. In addition, all the data collected in all the flows is also stored in a Google Sheet that you are the owner of. The Chat Agency does not use or share any of your subscriber's data outside of your brand.
The monthly retainer includes any maintenance and technical updates required. It also includes minor updates to offers, language, images, etc.
Your Chatalyst will check on the funnels regularly to ensure they are working as expected. If there are features such as monthly winners or order fulfillment we will work with your team to make sure those are being kept current.
You will be added to a Slack channel that gives you the ability to connect with your Chatalyst or another member of our team quickly. That usually means within minutes and never more than 24 hours during business hours.

The Chat Agency owns any funnels because they are built using our IP. They are considered "leased"
to you for as long as you are a current client of ours. Once the project is over (for short-term
campaigns) or you end your retainer payments (evergreen funnels) the funnel(s) are locked. If you want, they can be left active but you will be unable to edit them.
How much do funnels cost?
