Only full-time registration is accepted, even if your child does not attend the program every day. Fees: Monthly payment: $85 per child. The monthly payment is due at the first of each month.
***Fees are subject to change.*** Ages: Kindergarten – 6th grade.
Older children may be allowed to participate; however, they should understand that the scheduled activities are geared for grades K – 6th and their play, behavior, language, conversation and device usage
should be appropriate for our youngest participants. Also, older children may not be allowed to participate in some of the scheduled activities.
Basic Activities: An activity schedule will be available each month. Various activities include soccer, swimming, bowling, archery, fitness programs, volleyball, art projects, basketball, dodgeball, kickball, football, whiffleball, tennis, polo, pictionary, karaoke, bingo, cooking class, holiday events and activities, tournaments, competitions, plus many more games, sports, special events and activities. A snack is provided daily.
Children may also have the opportunity to participate in various field trips throughout the school year. Participating in field trips is optional, must be signed up for, generally cost extra and generally runs past the normal ending time of 5:30 pm. The program will be as normal at the community center for children that do not wish to participate in the field trips on scheduled.
What To Bring: Children should wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the scheduled activities and for the weather conditions. We go on with our schedule, even in rain and/or cool temperatures, if possible. Parents may wish to provide sunscreen - as we are outside many afternoons. Socks are needed for bowling; swimsuit and towel are needed for swim days. We encourage children to bring a water bottle. Consult the activity schedule to determine if additional items are needed. Children are responsible for keeping up with all their belongings.
If your child chooses to bring valuable electronics, such as phones, iPods and gaming systems, most of the time the children’s items are not in a secure place and these items are at risk of being stolen or damaged. Also, if your child brings an item such as this, the content and material, including music, games, pictures and internet usage should be appropriate for all ages involved in our program.
Pick Up Procedure:
Sevierville Intermediate School Children – A Kids Unlimited staff member will meet the Intermediate School children just outside the back door of the Intermediate School immediately following school. Sevierville Middle School Children – Middle School children should meet the Kids Unlimited staff on the football field behind the Intermediate School. See note below concerning bad weather days.
Sevierville Primary School Children – Children in the program will ride a school bus directly from the Primary to the area behind the Intermediate/Middle School. The children in our program will be on one bus, with no children above the second grade on board. A Kids Unlimited staff member will supervise these children beginning when they depart the bus.
Children from any other school – Children from other schools may participate in this program. However, we do not pick up from schools not listed above. Parents can bring their child(ren) to us. Ask the Program Supervisor for more details.
Children participating in this program should be in the correct place listed above immediately when school dismisses. It will be assumed that if a child is not at the appropriate place in a timely manner, they are not participating in the program for that day. These pick up procedures could change based on decisions made by the school system. Please check with the Program Supervisor to confirm these procedures.
In the event of rain, we may pick the children up in our City bus. When these conditions exist, the Middle School kids should look for the Kids Unlimited staff at the Trula Lawson covered porch area instead of the football field.
