How It Works

Reseller Setup

To get you started we we will provide you with a website portal where your customers will be able to see your website offering. The website will allow your customer to purchase a website directly off your portal, it will also allow you to manually order the website without making the customer pay online, perfect for those times when you have billing already setup with your customer. 1. We will setup a fully branded website portal that will either link to your existing website, or we will provide a brand new website.

2. We will setup a secure SSL payment page that will allow your customer to purchase a website from you. This page will also take the website requirement from the customer which will be sent to our team via the white labelled ticketing system. We can also send a copy to an email address of your choosing.

3. We will configure your portal to match the prices you want to charge and any information that you want to include on your portal. We will also give you a login so that you can update your information at any time.

4. We will provide a non-payment taking page that is hidden where you are able to manually order a website for the customer. This can be used if for example a customer has purchased a website over the phone or in your shop. You can either complete this on behalf of your customer during an initial consultation with them or you can forward the link to them and ask them to complete it themselves.

How It Works From The Customers Perspective

Your customer can order a website from you in two ways.

1. The manual way - this is usually when you meet your customer face to face and you would invoice the customer offline. This is great if you are meeting your customer with other services in mind and are upselling a website at the same time.

2. The auto pilot way - this is when you direct your customers to your portal and the customer can order the website themselves. The customer would pay the setup fee online and then the build process would begin without your intervention.

3. Once the customer has ordered a website we will allocate a UK based project manager to them who will liaise with them to get their website built. This will be done through our white labelled ticketing system from an email address from your business.

4. Once the website is signed off and has gone live we will continue to support your customer with any support, changes and updates that they require. All support, changes and updates are included in our unlimited support covered in our hosting fee.

Our Infrastructure

By being our partner each of your websites will take advantage of our web hosting infrastructure. We use dedicated servers located in a state-of-the-art data centre based in Kent. They are

managed by our team of hardware specialists who are constantly monitoring and making sure they are ready for your customers.

We use the latest hardware technology keeping all websites fast and responsive. We use cloudlinux software to ensure that your website is fully protected and highly available.

Backups

Backups are critical to your customers websites. So if your customer makes a mistake, find that an upgrade has gone wrong or that they have been very unfortunate and been hacked, backups will be your saviour. Even malicious activity from within your customers business can be put right with a good backup plan.

We take the backing up of your customers websites extremely seriously. We backup all websites every day, keeping a copy every two weeks for two months. It is only then the backup is removed from our system. Not only that, we take each of these copies off site to another secure loction so that even if the server you are on is affected in any way, we have backups in another location. That’s full disaster recovery.

You will only value the real benefits of backup when something goes wrong. We are always looking out for you and your customer, and because we have unlimted support there are no hidden charges in restoring any of your websites.

Our Technical Team

Usually when a non-technical business sets out to host websites they are on their own when it comes to technical support. By becoming a partner with us we become your technical team. We can provide technical support in two ways:

1. We become your technical team - you can utilise our hosting platform, our technical skills and ask us to support you in anyway with websites and email accounts that we host for you. You can simply email our support team and a technician will solve your problem.

2. We become the technical team for your customers - our white labelled technical support team can talk to your customers direct. We can provide you with a fully branded email address where your customers can get technical support direct from our team - we will support them in your name.

For example we can provide a ticketing helpdesk system using your own logo, and business email address - [email protected] - any emails that are sent there will be managed by our technical team while your customers believe that you are providing excellent support. All responses will come from your nominated email address.

Billing Your Customer

Setup Fee Billing

As part of the setup we will ask you to setup an account with stripe.com. Stripe is very similar to paypal but has some advantages. The main advantages are that its processing fees are lower than paypal and that the customer does not leave your website to complete the transaction. This gives them a better buying experience. We will guide and help you with the setup of your Stripe account.

Any payments taken by Stripe will be deposited directly into your bank account.

If you are billing your customer offline then you would just invoice them in the way you are billing them currently.

Monthly Hosting Fee Billing

We would encourage you to setup a GoCardless.com account for all of your monthly hosting fees. GoCardless is very easy to setup and use. GoCardless is a direct debit system with very low processing fees. This will ensure that your hosting fees are received quickly to your bank account every month.

You will be able to send an email link to your customer where they will complete an online direct debit form. Collecting your monthly hosting fees from your customers becomes really easy. We will guide you through how to setup and use GoCardless you will also be able to use it with other monthly bills that you have within your business.

Billing Between Us

We will ask you to complete our direct debit form when signing up. We will bill you for each website setup and a monthly hosting invoice at the reseller discounted rates.

offline?

No, if your customer already has a working website we will provide a temporary domain and build the new website behind the scenes. When your customer is ready we can make it live.

Are there any charges to any future changes to the
