EXPLANATORY NOTE

WEDDING OPTION LIST

Location Charge

The location charge applies to specific functions enabling the use of the Tryall Club facilities and to confirm your date The location charge includes:

• Onsite Wedding Designer to assist with the pertinent details of your wedding;

• A golf cart for the wedding day;

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at our Great House one and two bedroom villas and at our Luxurious Estate Villas. Contact reservations at [email protected] or visit www.tryallclub.com for further details.

GROUP BOOKINGS - Accommodations

For Group Rates and other Villa information, please contact the Tryall reservation office at [email protected]

Menus

We have provided a variety of menus based upon the type of event. However, should you require a special menu or a variation to the existing menus, our Executive Chef will be pleased to assist you. Special dietary requests must be addressed prior to the completion of your contract. The Club will do everything reasonable to accommodate these requests and needs.

Guarantee

A guaranteed guest count is required at least 72 hours in advance of your event. This is the minimum amount that will be catered and charged for.

Payments

The Location Fee payment is required at the time of

booking to secure and confirm the space for your requested date and time. A payment schedule will be forwarded in your private dining contract.

Special Services

As your wedding designer we can offer expert advice and guidance such as recommending florists, professional photographer, videographer, entertainment and of course the wedding cake. Prices will of course vary depending upon who you choose.

Linen Selection

White tablecloths and napkins are guaranteed for your event. White chair covers & tiebacks are also available at an additional cost.

Currency

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (US$) and may be converted to Jamaican Dollars at our going rate of exchange.

Tax & Gratuity

The following charges will apply - 15% gratuity and 10% Tax will be added to all food & beverage services. Please note that all prices quoted are subject to change and are non-negotiable.

Locations

Selecting the site for your wedding day is a very important step in planning your wedding and our wedding designer will take you on a tour so as to show you the many different locations that we have to offer.

Ceremony Venue

For your ceremony, these locations are available for you to choose from:

• Great House Lawn - Capacity 120 persons, back-dropped by a magnificent 18th Century Great House, the golf course and an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea.

• Beach Café Lawn – Capacity 350 persons, overlooking our white sand beach and the sea. • Lawns of the Quiet Beach – Capacity 350,

overlooking the ocean.

• Beach Gazebo – Capacity 20 person, on the end of the pier with magical ocean views.

Marriage Officer

We can arrange for a marriage officer depending on your religious affiliation. We can also arrange a ceremony rehearsal upon request.

Please note that to have your wedding in Jamaica, there are essential documents which must be here on island 3 weeks prior to your wedding day:

• Notarized Birth Certificate of Bride and Groom • Notarized proof of absolute dissolution of previous

marriage (if applicable)

• Addresses and Professions of both Bride and Groom • Names and addresses of both Bride and Groom

parents

• Notarized death certificates (wherever applicable) The bride and groom need to be in Jamaica at least 24 hours before the wedding day.

Alan C Smith was born in Canada and moved to Jamaica at the age of 1. He completed

the Communication arts degree in Graphic Design, Illustration and Advertising at

Alberta College of Arts in Canada. Upon discovering Photography’s potential as a

creative outlet, he continued studying and completed his photography degree.

Although he works commercially and as a fine artist, he has found that weddings are the

only form of photography that combine the talents required for art, fashion, product,

landscape, journalism, and portraiture. It’s a challenge and he loves a challenge. His

ability to capture emotions and memorable moments with beautiful composition and

exceptional lighting sets him apart. He strives to create a story through imagery that

is unique to each client

New Levels Décor began operation in 2008 by sisters Selena Hammond Walters

and Syreeta Hammond. The initial focus was on event décor but quickly grew to

incorporating rentals as part of the main business of the company. Presently, the

company has added event planning and particularly corporate event planning as part

of their service offerings and are able to supply complete décor and rentals services

at the highest level and for any size event. They have worked for companies such as

Nestle Jamaica, Bureau of Standards, the Jamaica Tourist Board, Jamaica Chamber of

Commerce, Touchstone Productions the producers of Jamaica Jazz Festival, as well as

numerous weddings and events for some of Jamaica’s elite.

Banquet Weather Policy

Should the local weather service report a 30% or more chance of precipitation in the

area, the scheduled function will be held indoors in the designated area. The decision

will be made by our Events Manager and the Director of Club Operations no later than

12:00 noon on the day of your function. Should the decision be delayed by the client and

result in a double setup of the function, an additional charge of $2,000 per 100 guests will

be added to your invoice.
