2014
Each year Burwood Council celebrates the onset of Spring with a family fun festival. This year Burwood Festival turns 30 and will celebrate spring once again, on Sunday 21 September 2014. Burwood Festival is the biggest and most vibrant festival in the Inner West, attracting residents and visitors from across Sydney. Last year, Burwood Festival entertained an estimated 90,000 patrons, providing a fun day out for people of all ages and walks of life. This year, Burwood Festival SuperFest will showcase an array of over 100 food and merchandise stalls, amusement rides, stage entertainment, roaming performers an impressive classic cars at teh 30th Birthday Super Hero inspired Festival. Burwood Festival will certainly be an experience for all.
Burwood Council is offering new, exciting and unique sponsorship opportunities for the 2014 Burwood Festival and would like your organisation to join us at this popular event. With exposure to a wide audience and an estimated 100,000 patrons on festival day, Burwood Festival is a great investment for your business.

PRESENTING PARTNER PACKAGE
This package is designed for sponsors investing $20,000 + GST or greater. Sponsors will enjoy recognition as th exclusive Presenting Partner of Burwood Festival 2014. This level of sponsorship is highly regarded, and will include maximum exposure at the event and during the promotional and marketing phases. This includes:• Acknowledgement and exclusive rights as Presenting Partner of Burwood Festival 2014 • Branding of the main entrance to Burwood Festival and Burwood Park with exposure
to up to 100,000 visitors (sponsor must provide own banners and promotional
advertising)
• Town Square (dining precinct) naming rights (sponsor must provide own banners) • 2 x free MC or entertainment slots on Main Stage throughout the day (Subject to
approval by Burwood Council)
• Ability to show 30sec video advertisements and/or still logos on the main stage screen up to five times throughout the day.
• Stall and site provided at Burwood Festival on Sunday 21 September 2014, in a
prominent position for sponsors benefit, for example, merchandise sales or giveaways and advertising of products and services
• Possibility to display banners throughout Burwood Park on the day of the event
(sponsor must provide own banners)
• Sponsor’s logo will be included in all marketing and promotional material related to Burwood Festival, including advertisements, Festival site banners, stage banners and Festival guide that is distributed to 120,000 households in the Inner West
• Social media mentions via Facebook and Twitter and inclusion on the Burwood
Council and Burwood Festival websites which receive more than 100,000 unique hits per quarter

Burwood Council has sponsorship packages that are negotiable and can be specifically tailored to suit the needs of your organisation. Below is a guideline of the financial investment and what may be included.

MAIN STAGE SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE
This package is designed for sponsors investing $15,000 + GST. Sponsors will enjoy recognition as the exclusive Main Stage Sponsor of Burwood Festival 2014. This level of sponsorship is highly regarded, and will include maximum exposure at the event and during the promotional and marketing phases. This includes:
•
Acknowledgement and exclusive rights as the Main Stage Sponsor of Burwood Festival 2014• Branding of the main Stage at Burwood Festival (sponsor must provide own banners
and promotional advertising)
• Slot on the Main Stage for an entertainer or MC (as available and subject to approval
by Burwood Council)
• Ability to show 30sec video advertisements and/or still logos on the main stage screen up to three times throughout the day
• Stall and site provided at Burwood Festival on Sunday 21 September 2014, in a
prominent position for sponsors benefit, for example, merchandise sales or giveaways and advertising

This package is designed for sponsors investing $10,000 + GST. Sponsors will enjoy recognition as the exclusive Classic Car Show Sponsor of Burwood Festival 2014. This level of sponsorship is highly regarded, and will include maximum exposure at the event and during the promotional and marketing phases. This includes:
• Acknowledgement and exclusive rights as the Classic Car Show and Shine Sponsor of Burwood Festival 2014
• Branding of the small presentation Stage for the Classic Car Show at Burwood Festival
(sponsor must provide own banners and promotional advertising)

IN-KIND SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE
Please note that there are options available for in-kind sponsorship depending on the level and quantity of sponsorship provided. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to discuss these options.

Please note the following conditions:
• The event will run rain, hail or shine unless extreme conditions persist, in which case the event will be cancelled. There will be a weather consult held 72 hours prior to the event, with final decision made by Burwood Council
• Burwood Council will not seek sponsorship from or sponsor any party engaged in current or pending legal proceedings involving the Council or where the proposed project would contravene any section of the Local Government Act or where the proposed project may expose Councillors, the Council or its staff to conflicts of interest
• A sponsorship agreement with Burwood Council will not proclude Council from carrying out its regulatory functions and duties
• A sponsorship agreement may be refused or terminated in any case where, during the life of the sponsorship the sponsor has a current application or matter before Council, or Council is aware of the possibility of an application or matter coming before the Council in the near future or where the sponsor or party being sponsored is or is likely to be subject to regulation or inspection by the Council which may impose or imply conditions
