Announcement Stone

Here in the presence of Washington and Lincoln, one the 18th century father and the other, the 19th century preserver of our nation, We honor those 20th century Americans who took up the struggle during the Second World War and made the sacri-

fices to perpetuate the gift our forefathers entrusted to us:

A nation conceived in liberty and justice.

On Veterans Day While we were here at home

They traveled land and sea, To make sure we stayed safe,

To protect and keep us free.

Words are not enough;

To give them what they’re due.

On Veteran’s Day please thank them For their service, to me and you.

FLU SEASON 2019

Medical experts predict that this season could be especially challenging. The best way to prevent the flu is to get vaccinated. The CDC has found the flu shot can reduce the illness by 40 to 60%.

The new vaccines are updated each year for the viruses that are circulating in the U.S. Flu season begins to increase in November and can last as late as May.

Tips: + Get vaccinated, + wash hands, + disin-

fect common surfaces, + drink water, + avoid

those who have symptoms.
