CHURCHILL COLLEGE WINE COMMITTEE

Wines Available from Reserve Stocks – July 2021

Please note that the Catering Department is currently operating at reduced capacity and that you should therefore allow five days for wine orders to be processed,

Wines on the attached list may be purchased by Fellows, Honorary Fellows and By- Fellows for private use. Other Senior Members and holders of Dining Rights and Privileges may also make purchases with the approval of the Wine Steward. The prices in this list apply from 1 July 2021 and are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Please quote all three of the name of the wine required, its bin number and its id number. If some of this information is missing or inaccurate, it may necessitate checks leading to delays in processing of the order.

Fellows should order wine from the Catering Supervisors by e-mail to fellowswine@chu.cam.ac.uk. Orders should be collected by arrangement with the Front of House staff.

The wine will usually be put out in old cardboard cases, without any attempt to pack it suitably for onward travel, and it is the Fellow’s responsibility to look after it thereafter.

It has now been possible to conduct a physical stocktake. Thus the bin-end figures are correct as of late June and wines appearing in the main list have at least 12 bottles in stock (and in most cases significantly more) at the date of publication of the list.

P A Russell, Wine Steward 11 July 2021
