Practical Information
Accommodation
UMH doesn’t have halls of residence or off-campus student accommodation. Instead there is a vast network of private accommodation near the university. More information about this network can be found on Programa Nido.
Programa Nido is a public database of private accommodation where owners publish voluntarily their properties so students can check availability near the campus. This on-line tool is public service-minded and aims to provide the university community with useful information in order to find accommodation according to its needs.
UMH has agreements with some private organizations which offer accommodation to the university community:

Students coming from within the European Union with access to the public health system in their home countries will be able to use their European Health
Insurance Card. This card entitles students to any necessary healthcare during a temporary stay in any of the EU member states or in countries of the European Economic Area, at any outpatient department or health centre near their accommodation.
Students coming from a non-EU country must bring their own international medical insurance policy to cover their healthcare needs in Spain. Students should also bring an insurance company document detailing the extent of such cover.
Students coming from countries that have signed Bilateral Health Agreements with Spain should bring their corresponding documentation with them from their home country and apply to be assigned a Family Doctor at the health centre nearest to their accommodation.
