• three-year PhD study course
General requirements for enrolment are:
• completed 2nd cycle master’s study preogramme;
• completed at least a four-year academic undergraduate programme accredited with 240 ECTS credits;
• completed specialization after previously finished professional study programme, and had passed additional study obligations within 30 to 60 ECTS credit points;
• completed an equivalent program abroad. There are 30 enrolment posts foreseen.
In case the number of candidates exceeds the number of available positions, the candidates will be selected based on their previous academic achievement.

The procedure for enrollment
Application dates
First round of submitting from 1 May to 31 August, 2013 Second round of submitting from 1 September to 20 September, 2013
Warning: If too many candidates will apply in first round of submitting, the second round will be closed. Candidates should send their application for enrolment to the first year by registered mail not later than by 31 August, 2013 (or 20 September, 2013).

Candidates are expected to provide all documentation by the deadline. Applications with attachments should be addressed to:

* Foreign certificates
Candidates, who have a foreign certificate of academic achievements and wish to continue their education in first year of postgraduate study in the Republic of Slovenia must have a decision acknowledging their right for further education at university or higher education specialist study programmes (hereinafter: decision of recognition). Candidates must send recognition papers together with application form.
Candidates, who do not have a decision of recognition, must send an Application for the recognition of academic achievements, for the purpose of further education (form N) within 5 days after they'll have received the final certificate(s), required to apply for the recognition or admission but not after 31 August, 2013.
The procedure for recognition of academic achievements is carried out by competent persons at the university.
Form N
Obligatory attachments to Form N:
1. Original or copy (duplicate) of the certificate or diploma to be recognised or some other document replacing the original according to the law of the issuing country;
The original or copy (duplicate) must be legalised on the basis of:
• the 1961 Hague Convention (at the court with territorial jurisdiction where the certificate or diploma has been issued); with properly filled in apostille form affixed or
• the Authentication of Documents in International Traffic Act.

2. Certified Slovene or English translation of the certificate or diploma referred to in the first indent;
3. Annual report cards, transcripts, a diploma supplement or some other evidence on the contents and duration of education (in Slovene or English);
4. A short chronological description of the entire education prepared by the applicant.
