AMENDMENT ORDER (NO.1) 2014
THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 53 and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby make the following Order:
-1. THIS Order may be cited as “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in the Borough of Guildford (Guildford Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone) (Consolidation of Waiting and Loading Restrictions Street Parking Places and Revocation) Amendment Order (No.1) 2014" and shall come into operation on TUESDAY 27 MAY 2014
2. THE Surrey County Council Various Roads in the Borough of Guildford (Guildford Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone)(Consolidation of Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Street Parking Places and Revocation) Order 2009 shall have effect as though:
(a) for the Second Part of The Schedule to that Order there was substituted the Second Part set out in The Schedule to this Order
(b) for the Third Part of The Schedule to that Order there was substituted the Third Part set out in The Schedule to this Order
(c) for the Fourth Part of The Schedule to that Order there was substituted the Fourth Part set out in The Schedule to this Order

(i) The charge for a motor vehicle left in any of the Pay and Display and the Dual Use parking places situated in the roads specified below Monday-Saturday, 8.30am-6pm shall be eighty pence for a period of thirty minutes:

(ii) The charge for a motor vehicle left in any of the Pay and Display and the Dual Use parking places situated in the roads specified below Monday-Saturday, 8.30am-6pm shall be eighty pence for a period of not more than thirty minutes up to a
maximum of three pounds and twenty pence for a period of not more than two hours:
