Designer
 Do
you
enjoy
playing
computer
games
and
would
like
to
know
more
about
how
they
work?

Have
you
got
a
great
 idea
for
a
new
platform,
puzzle
or
fashion
game?

Would
you
like
to
design
and
build
your
own
brand
new
game
in
 just
one
day?

Learn
how
to
create
animated
characters,
challenging
scenarios
and
control
events
on‐screen.

Create
 a
simple
(but
fully
operational)
computer
game,
which
you
can
develop
further
at
home.

All
completed
games
will
 be
published
onto
the
Internet

so

you
can
amaze

 Robin
Hood
 Every
generation
since
the
thirteenth
century
has
had
its
own
take
on
the
story
of
England’s
favourite
outlaw,
Robin
 Hood
‐
the
peasants’
hero
who
fought
injustice
and
robbed
from
the
rich
to
give
to
the
poor.

In
seven
hundred
years
 the
story
of
the
man
in
green
tights
from
Sherwood
Forest
has
been
unmatched
by
any
other
legend,
but,
is
it
true?
 We
will
investigate
how
the
legend
has
changed
over
the
years,
sort
out
the
fact
from
the
fiction,
determine
who
the
 real
Robin
Hood
may
have
been
and
consider
why
his
story
is
still
so
powerful.

Strange
World
of
Chance
 How
can
you
explain
a
coincidence?
Are
there
patterns
to
be
found
in
seemingly
random
events?
If
you
thought
 Probability
was
just
about
coins,
dice,
socks
and
marbles
–
think
again!
We’ll
explore
Monty
Hall’s
Dilemma,
Monte
 Carlo,
Lewis
Carroll’s
Pillow,
Sicherman’s
Dice,
Poker,
Birthdays
and
many
more
classic
probability
problems
in
a
 fascinating
day
of
mathematical
mind‐benders,
conundrums
and
puzzles.
Chances
are,
you’ll
discover
that
things
 aren’t
quite
as
surprising
as
they
seem.
