Chapter 1

What Is All Fares Plus?

All Fares Plus is a low-fare search product that searches for the lowest available fare as per criteria requested in two types of content, Amadeus Fares and Fares on the Web. All Fares Plus also offers a competitive advantage by allowing a Calendar View search and Beat PNR price search.

What Are the Different Fare Types to Understand?

All Fares Plus gives your search results in three tabs where fares are grouped by fare type. The Amadeus tab displays fares listed only in the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS). The Websites and Other tab displays fares listed only on the Web from the websites available. The All Results tab is a merge of the results of the other two tabs. It is important to understand these fare types in order to make a proper selection.

What Is an Amadeus Fare Type?

This airline content exists exclusively in the Amadeus GDS, and includes public fares and private (negotiated or corporate) fares. Also included are Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) that are ticketless, SR EPAY Ticketing, Pioneer, and, with limitations, TLAs.

What is a Website Fare Type?

This airline content contains information from websites that are not available from the Amadeus GDS. These include LCCs, exclusive Internet content and business websites with an exclusive contract with a travel agency.

Chapter 2

Making a Booking

The way you make a booking is different depending on the fare type you want to book.

For more information, see What Are the Different Fare Types to Understand? on page 3

Note: If you exit All Fares Plus to modify the PNR during a booking, you must restart the complete booking flow when you return to All Fares Plus.

How to Make an Amadeus Airline Booking

The booking flow for a typical Amadeus airline booking consists of the following steps:

1. In the Your Air Search Options section of the initial screen, enter the required information for an air booking search. To complete a search you must at least enter information in the To, From and Date fields.

Note: Throughout this flow, required information is always highlighted in yellow.

2. Accept the default values for the additional options and click on Search. The search results screen displays three tabs that will show the message 'Searching' if the search is not complete.

3. Refine your search results using filters if required. 4. Highlight the selected flights and click on Book.

5. In the Traveller and Payment screen, enter the traveller information.

If there is an active PNR, traveller information is automatically copied into the required fields.

6. Select the type of form of payment from a drop-down list in the Form of Payment section.

Depending on the type selected, fill in additional information. 7. Click on Send Reservation Request to review the reservation. 8. Click on Go To PNR after reviewing the booking.

How to Make a Web Airline Booking
