There have been many cases where improper disposals cost companies large sums of money. One of the cases involves Macy’s. They were fined $50,000 for not properly disposing lamps. The LIRR was also fined for discarding their lamps in regular trash receptacles with the rest of their garbage. This poor decision cost them $43,875. LR6 exceeds the luminaire efficacy and lifetimes of even the most efficient fluorescent downlight systems. With 650 lumens light output, delivered out of the fixture and into the room, the LR6 easily replaces a 65W BR30 lamp and uses 80% less power! It fits standard 6” recessed housings and is intended for new construction or can be retrofitted into existing fixtures. Cree TrueWhite ™ technology, a unique combination of red and saturated yellow LEDs, enables the LR6 to create white light with high color rendering (CRI 92).
