• IBM Validation selection option enables the IBM requester to specify additional information for the WSP analyst to collect from the supplier.

• PCD Details Modification enhancement enables the IBM requester to modify details of an in-process request without requiring cancellation and recreation.

• Report Filter Criteria for PCD Refresh Request Type will allow reports to be executed with BAU Request Type, PCD Refresh Request Type or All.

Not covered in this training packet:

• PCD Transfer function helps IBM administrators to transfer PCD requests from one IBM user to another in the event the user changes positions or departs the company.

• Late Reason Ranking will improve data analytics for determining and alleviating the primary causes of Requests exceeding TAT. This change is related to the WSP Workflow application used by WSP ECT analysts for processing PCD requests on behalf of IBM.

• IBM PN • EC No

• Top Assembly • Supplier Part No • Comments

Note: When manually adding parts, a user must tab through all the columns in the row to create a new row for continuous part entry.

content onto a single request.

• If PCD Form # is defined:

Maximum of 8 form #’s can be declared in a single 2003/2007 template upload. PCD Request(s) will be auto created.

PNs will be added to the Part Number Tab in accordance with the PCD form # grouping specified in the 2003/2007 upload template.

Prepopulated PCD forms will be attached to the supplier email as a zip file. Maximum of 4 forms per email due to email size limitation.

• Complete required fields: PCD form #, IBM PN and SPN.

• If the PCD Form # is not declared, the request and supplier correspondence will be manually

performed as previously.

A dropdown list selection is added

(18)

• The “Validate Parts” button will perform: duplicate parts check, part number verification, etc. • Rows will be colored as follows:

• Red – indicates an error and will not allow the request to be submitted (Validation Failed dialog) • Yellow – indicates a warning, but will allow the request to be submitted
