According to the SAP Service Marketplace: Please note that as of version 4.0, SAP
BusinessObjects Enterprise XI was renamed to SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform or SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform.
It requires one of the following:
l Automation Engine v10 Service Pack 1
l Automation Engine v9 Service Pack 7 Hot Fix 4 l Applications Manager v8.0 Service Pack 14
Important Change in Required Agent Setup: Putting
Required .jar Files in Place
The Business Objects agent requires you to put certain .jar files in place when you:
l Install the Business Objects agent l Upgrade the Business Objects agent l Upgrade the RA agent core
You get them from the Business Objects .zip file and your SAP BO installation. Instructions are included in the installation topic in the Business Objects agent documentation.

What's New in v2.0.0: Multiple Values in Business
Objects Multi-Value Prompts
You can now allow multiple values in Business Objects multi-value prompts by clicking the
Multiple Semi-Colon Separated Values box.
When this box is checked, you can enter multiple semi-colon separated values directory into multi-value prompts or by using variables for Automation Engine and Operations Manager or substitution variables for Applications Manager.
The Multiple Semi-Colon Separated Values box is unchecked by default to allow you to use semi-colons in prompts for other reasons.
Known Issue: Starting the Agent Using Business
Objects 12.5
If you are running Business Objects 12.5, there is a known issue starting the agent. Please contact Automic Support for a Special Patch.
Change in Behavior: Desktop Intelligence Reports Are
No Longer Supported
Desktop Intelligence reports are no longer supported with the Business Objects agent. They are no longer supported in SAP BI BusinessObjects 4.1.

Bug Fixes
l S#183018: Fixed a problem where entering a value in the 'Run As' field to run a report as a
different user caused an error.
l S#188142: Fixed a problem where updated prompt values did not save.
l S#192068: Fixed a problem where the Edit button was grayed out for editable prompts. l S#192210: Fixed a problem where all Crystal Reports prompts were showing as required
even when they are not required.
l S#192211: Fixed a problem where prompts with html descriptions showed the html tags. l S#192466: Fixed a problem where reports with a '/' in the report name caused an error when
selected.
l S#193612: Fixed a problem where job fails with reports that contain a '/' in the name. l S#194656: Fixed a problem where uncaught exceptions were sometimes returned when
opening job definitions.
l S#197644: Fixed a problem where the run control parameters were not transferred to the
Business Objects server from an Automation Engine job.

l S#204546: Fixed a problem where the exception 'attempting to invoke method
'getPluginProcessingInterface' failed:
com.businessobjects.sdk.plugin.desktop.webi.IWebi.g is returned when trying to execute a Webi report.
l S#204714: Fixed a problem that occurred when Default job values were entered in CMC, and
Automation Engine values entered were not passed. When you ran the job in the Automation Engine, the Parameter field was blank in the job report. This problem was caused by SAP Bug T.E. 5000428457.
l S#205887: Fixed a problem where the following occurs when getting prompts: AxisFault:
Read timed out.
l S#206080: Fixed a problem where a job could be saved with missing prompts when a
timeout occurred.
l S#206306: Fixed a problem where you would receive errors and be unable to create
Business Objects jobs that contained reports with DATETIME prompts when using Java 1.7.

value returned ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException in Automation Engine v9.
l S#174059: Fixed a problem where you could get an axis2 socket timeout after 30 seconds
when getting prompts for some reports.
l S#175641: Fixed a problem where passwords for the Business Objects FTP connection
objects were stored in plain text in the database.
