#1 Page A201 Demo note 4 states “Contractor shall coordinate all demolition of hazardous materials

with hazardous material contractor, if any.

Prior to start of construction and during construction.” Please provide an asbestos/lead report

asap for the site.

District to provide HazMat report.

#2 Per detail 2/A2.01 new handrail on building at ramp, Detail 7/A802 shows blocking for new

handrail. What is the existing finish inside that room?

Match Existing finish which is gypsum board and vinyl wall covering.

#3 Page A/201 shows new upper and lower cabinets on the west walls of rooms SE-1 and SE-2. It

appears that the HVAC return grill, thermostat and electrical panel will be Obstructed, if upper cabinets

are installed in these locations (See attached Marked-up plan page (PRE-BID RFI no.3 A201))

RESPONSE

Delete upper cabinets from scope of work in each classroom. Shift new base cabinets with

sink to location under the window in each classroom.

#4 Room SE-1 Has wire mold on wall where new sink location is depicted on drawing. There is no

mention of this wire mold on the demo plan. (See marked up Plan page PRE-BID RFI no.3 A201)

Please advise.

Same response as item #4.

#5 Room that has the existing sink for restroom facilities has a window style air conditioner installed

under the window through the wall. Please provide framing, interior and exterior repair notes/details

for this location. (see attached marked-up plan page PRE-BID RFI no.5 A201 and picture)

Infill wall to match existing framing and exterior siding and paint to match existing siding.

Use FRP finish at interior wall per note 6 on A-601

#6 Please verify that existing window in New student restroom H/C toilet area has existing Privacy

Film. Page A201 Detail 2.

please clarify what is new and what is existing. Is there additional demo not shown?

The 2x8 plumbing wall is new. (Shall be 2x8 per structural, not 2x6 as shown on A-201) The

2x4 walls shaded in gray on 2/A-201 are new walls. See revised sheet A-201.

Per 1/A-201, demo openings at existing walls as required for new doors & windows, frame openings per

plan, details 1 & 2 sht. A-802.

#9 Page S304 Detail’s 3 & 4 call out for 2x8 stud wall which contradicts Legend on page A201 that

states 2x6 stud wall.

#10 Demo plan does not call out demolition of existing ceiling or flooring in middle room area where

new restrooms, changing room and time out rooms are to go.

requirements? What is the wall covering/finish material on the inside of the restroom? Will it be

necessary to access plumbing below the floor of this relocatable restroom building? If so, what is the

flooring material?

Locate new drinking fountain at north side of this building where existing fountain occurs.
