1. Configure design and lay out the system

before attempting to install this product. note – A DMX controller is required to operate Wall Washer fixtures. Additional DMX adapter cables may be required.

2. Set DMX address

Locate the DMX addressing interface on the fixture. Power the fixture. Select a DMX address (000 – 512). Each address consists of 3 channels (R-G-B or A-W-B).

To control fixtures individually, assign a unique DMX address per fixture.

To control fixtures at the same time, assign the same DMX for each fixture.

3. enSUre Main poWer iS off. 4. install fixtures

Determine locations on the mounting surface according to the desired design and layout. Ensure fixtures are installed within the maximum run length of DMX cable (1,000 feet or 300 feet for CAT5 cable). DMX wiring must be installed in a continuous run (daisy chained). Connect main power wires to Washer fixture. optional

A DMX Distribution Amplifier is required for multiple runs (star wiring) or when installing more than 16 fixtures.

5. Connect fixtures

Connect fixtures using DMX cable. Ensure a tight connection is made by tightening the lock nut. For harsh environments you may use a silicon compound to seal the connectors. For hardwiring, use weatherproof boxes and covers as needed (supplied by others).

6. Connect Controller

Run DMX cable from the controller to the first fixture. If no controller is connected and the DMX address is set to 001, the fixture will enter into the default test mode and cycle colors.

7. run System

Turn the power on. Check all fixtures to make sure they are running properly. If fixtures are not running properly, check all connections and retighten.
