Network
InternetGHANA’s NCA licensed Radio MAN wireless platform is an advanced point-to-multi-point broadband wireless access solution delivering fibre-optic quality connectivity for high-speed IP data and Internet applications.
The platform’s Carrier Class Services at upstream and downstream rates of up to 34Mbps per sector enables it to address clients’ requirement for high bandwidth connectivity solutions.
The platform provides last-mile solutions for small, medium and large businesses including multi-dwelling and multi-tenant unit (MDU/MTU) applications and ensures exceptional traffic handling capacity to provide fast, consistent and reliable data, video and voice services to clients.
The Radio MAN operates on a dedicated licensed Frequency Bandwidth, allocated by National Communication Authority (NCA). This dedicated Frequency eliminates the high instance of interference resulting in severe service disruption highly associated with Free Unlicensed radio systems.
The interconnecting backbone between any of our Point of Presence (PoP) and the main backhaul node is an MPLS Platform with multiple redundancies.
Our main backhaul node is connected to the global internet via a fully redundant link based on atleast two international submarine fibre optic cables, namely MainOne and SAT3. We are currently expanding our Network Operating Center (NOC) to position ourselves to purchase bandwidth via the GLO and WASC submarine cables.
Clients Connection
There are two types of client-end installation. These are 1. Facial mount outdoor installation
This is InternetGHANA’s standard installation for the iDirect service. The radio outdoor Unit is mounted on the facial wall or board of the building in which the service will be used. An Ethernet cable links the radio outdoor unit with the indoor unit. The service is integrated to the Client’s Local Area Network via a Cisco or Huawei router or an Integrated Internet Services Monitoring and Management Server (IISMMS).
The IISMM server comes with Bandwidth utilization graphs, User Access control/Restriction, Time of Day Browsing Permission, Activity logging etc. and we recommends it highly for all prospective and existing clients.
The service is delivered with a two usable IP-address class to allow other services like DNS, E-mails and WWW to be hosted locally within the client’s premises.
2. Tower mount Outdoor installation
This installation would require procurement of a mast at the Client premises where one does not exist. Client would have to bear full cost of mast.

Our Cost Explained.
Standard Cost
Radio Installation ChargeThe standard cost includes the wall mount jig/mast, with the cables and connectors. This comes with x4 static public Internet IP address’s for the client.
Optional
The integration Equipments are optional since the client may have one existing for use for the service. The recommended equipment includes Cisco 871 router, Huawei AR19-1x router and IISMM server.
Setup, Configuration and Commissioning
This is the onetime fee for the professional work done to integrate the service to the Client Local Area Network.Dedicated Internet Bandwidth Charges
InternetGhana can provide internet bandwidth from 512kpbs to 35 Mbps, which is dependent on Clients requirementsRadio CPE Lease + Spectrum License
The Radio CPE offers Clients a secure and reliable last-mile connection to the internet and also the connection is through our licensed spectrum from NCA. After the first year payment the cost of the Radio reduces in the second year.
