Dear Barry,

Daniels Electric Corporation is pleased to provide the following design build proposal for electrical work at the above-referenced project per Reconstruction Phase III Scope. We acknowledge Addendum #1.

Scope of Work

 Permits

 Reinstallation of existing light fixtures. All fixtures to be cleaned and re-lamped. Pricing is based on all new MC cable above suspended ceilings to rewire fixtures.

 Reinstall existing Fire Alarm System devices on existing wiring. Devices to be installed into new ACT ceilings.

 Reinstall existing Intercom speakers. Existing wiring to be reused where applicable. New wiring is included as required.

 Reinstall existing Data wiring and jacks as applicable. New CAT5e cable and jacks is included where required.

Total Cost $ 15,640.00*

Add Alternate- Replace the existing fixtures with new Super T8 High efficiency fixtures with lamps as specified.

Total Added Cost $ 10,500.00*

Exclusions from Scope of Work

 Municipal/Utility fees

 Replacement of any existing panels that are not code compliant

 Cutting and Patching

 Supply of Tel/Data Patch Panels, racks etc.

Furnish and install two layers of 5/8” type X gypsum wallboard at corridor

ceilings and one layer of 5/8” type X gypsum wallboard at classroom ceilings per plans and job site walk thru. GWB ceilings to attach to underside of truss cords

Wrap ceiling beams with 5/8” type X gypsum wallboard, as discussed at walk thru. (Two layers in corridor, one layer in classroom).

Price also includes 6” thermal batt insulation, 6 mil poly vapor barrier, and 5/8”

gypsum wallboard where drywall was removed above and below windows in each classroom.

Window jambs and head to be wrapped with GWB as discussed at walk thru.

(Window sill to be by others).

New exposed drywall to receive three coats joint compound, taped and sanded, ready for primer. Gypsum wallboard sub ceilings to be flat taped only.

Proposed Price: $ 23,350.00

Exclusions:

No patching of existing walls other than mentioned above.

No fire caulking, sound caulking, or similar.

No floor protection.

No wood blocking, wood framing or plywood.

No primer or paint.

No temporary power or lighting.

No vinyl covered drywall.

No dumpster(s).

3000 p.s.i; ¾" Aggregate $88.00 4000 p.s.i; ¾" Aggregate $92.00

Escalation: Add $5.00 per cubic yard January 1, 2015

WINTER CONCRETE is charged at $6.00 per cubic yard from November 1 through April 15 for heated concrete.

CEMENT factor increases or decreases will be adjusted at actual cost of 7.0 cents per pound.

ADMIXTURES not named above will be charged at the current standard rate; no extra charge for air entrained concrete.

TERMS: Net 30 days. Finance charge of 1 ½% per month (18% per annum) charged on all past due accounts. Buyer agrees to pay all costs of collection including reasonable attorney’s fees.

PRICES are per cubic yard of ready-mixed concrete and are guaranteed against increase thirty days from the above date or thirty days from the date of bid opening.

COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH where referred to, unless otherwise noted, is at 28 days when the concrete is handled, placed, cured and tested in complete accordance with applicable ASTM and ACI standards and recommendations.

MATERIALS unless otherwise stated, are from our standard aggregate and cement sources. We cannot guarantee color or be held responsible for color variations. We assume no liability for ready mixed concrete to which materials have been added that were not supplied by us.

CONTROL COST is to be assumed by others and, as a building material supplier; we cannot assume responsibility for concrete beyond our control.

TAXES that are or may be levied by the United States Government or any State or City on the materials quoted herein shall be added to the prices named.

DELIVERY will be made Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in minimum loads of 6 cubic yards (part load charge is $50.00 for each yard less than 6 cubic yards). Five minutes per cubic yard is allowed for unloading, beyond this period waiting time is charged at $1.50 per minute. Prices for Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday deliveries will be negotiated. The purchaser is responsible for providing reasonable access to the jobsite for a concrete delivery truck.

AGREEMENTS are subject to strikes, fires, or other conditions beyond our control.

ACCEPTANCE by an authorized representative of the company named above is required prior to delivery.

The purpose of this letter is to present our estimate for the above referenced facility. This estimate is based upon the information located on your Procore website, addendum-01 dated 04/03/14 and a walk- thru at the facility. We propose to re-install electrical systems, lighting fixtures, devices and branch wiring as per the above mentioned documents as well as the following proposal qualifications.

Base Scope;

 Install new T12 lamps in the (132) existing lighting fixtures and re-install lights into the new ceilings as requires. Includes new branch wiring back to the existing switch locations.

 Re-install existing fire alarm devices as necessary. Existing fire alarm system is believed to be in good working order, therefore, no additional fire alarm equipment or programming is included in this proposal.

 Re-install existing ceiling speakers, data jacks and intercom devices.

 Re-support existing ceiling wiring as required.

Base Cost: Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars ($11,880.00)

Add Alternate-01;

 Cost adder to furnish and install (132) new lighting fixtures as specified.

Add Alt Cost: Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,750.00)

PLEASE NOTE, if design drawings or as-built drawings are required in AutoCAD format, all necessary AutoCAD drawing files shall be supplied to our design department at no cost. This proposal is based on all work performed during normal working hours (M-F, 7:00-3:00). This proposal has been adjusted for a 30 day period from this date.

NOTES:

We exclude all cutting, patching, painting, core drilling, concrete work, fire stopping, fire alarm system, security alarm system, control wiring, electrical engineers review/stamp, engineering/design & provision of seismic restraint systems and all permanent and/or temporary utility company charges (ie; power, telephone, fire department, cable tv, etc.).
