CBS IT Sector of Information Technology and Infrastructures (IT Infrastructure) includes the all essential Information Technology equipment (Hardware and Operating Software, Middleware, Consumables, Parts) and networks which are essential grounds for the operation of any Enterprise, Organization or Office.
CBS IT undertakes the planning, study, proposal and the development of simple and in-depth projects, the necessary equipment and infrastructures, and the necessary short and long term technical support. The rapidly developing sector of telecommunications is one of the four Strategic Business Units of Cosmos / CBS IT.

The unification of voice, fax, email, SMS, and data in a single environment are handled by the Telecommunication Department of CBS IT.

Studies and Proposals:To optimize the installation and operation of each network (LAN, WAN, INTERNET), regarding the transmission of voice, data or video (picture), Cosmos undertakes financial and technical studies required to achieve the best possible solution available for each installation.
Telecommunications and Networks: Installation and testing of the active components for networks topology such as WAN / LAN / INTRANETS, transfer of voice, video and data, IP telephony, wireless networks, installations of solutions for VoIP (Avaya, Cisco), network management and security.
Cabling, Electrical Installations, Air Conditioning: Study and installation of cable systems on weak and powerful currents, and installation of structured cabling (category 5 and 6 or in fiber optics), electrical installations where it is required, air conditioning, etc.
Data Centers - Server Rooms: Cosmos is supplying the necessary studies, the special manufacturing and implementation of the infrastructure for servers, storage or telephone PBX installations in the server rooms (e.g. air condition, ventilation provision etc).
Telephone PBX, VoiP & Office Automation: Telephone PBX, fax and printing (MFP) for the needs of big or small enterprises and offices are offered and supported by Support and Maintenance contracts or on an on call basis. Specialized Solutions for document management, workflow, fax management (Open Text Right Fax), unified messaging (Cycos, Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya) are provided.
Help desk and Call Center: Cosmos has an in house organized call center that provides services of telephone support for hardware and software issues. This service is provided under specific service contracts, modified to customers’ needs.
