Management
The TriOpt STANDARD Solution System supports distributors and manufacturers with a focus on
warehousing, production optimization and office management. TriOpt is a proven technology for
increasing productivity, decreasing labor, and generating more profit by optimizing slab usage, making
the production process more efficient and improving order processing.
The main goal of the TriOpt system is to optimize the entire slab handling process. The production
process is analyzed and adjusted to benefit the customer’s situation.
As every production plant slightly differs, TriOpt is adaptable to the customer’s needs and can be used
in many different scenarios as shown in the following modules.
The TriOpt Standard Solution is based on a unique warehousing solution with bar coding and photo
taking. Thanks to automated image correction and correctly scaled measurements, jobs can be
prepared in advance without guesswork on the cut layout. This results in increased cutting through‐
put, optimized production, reduced waste of the slab and definitely less reproduction because of badly
matched seaming on big kitchen or bathroom units.
With the gained ability to inspect incoming slabs upon arrival, damaged or faulty pieces can be refused
and a refund claimed. The purchase and job overview results in better transparency and more
accurate quoting and billing.
Efficient tools for warehousing, job preparation and production; adds easy data tracking for analysis
and research.
TriOpt Standard is recommended to producers, who have a fully‐ or semi automatic CNC saw for
cutting slabs. Cut layouts are created in advance thus increasing production output vastly.

Goals
and
Benefits
of
Production
Module
The main aim for producers is to cut down production costs. Using stored data, TriOpt ha the
ability to pre‐program the sawing process. Cutting throughput of the machine is increased up to
200 %, thereby remarkably cutting production costs.
Advanced job preparation increases the cutting time of the saw. Why waste expensive
productive time of your saw? The pre‐programmed layout of the cuts on the slab transforms
directly into CNC control data. This data is loaded into the CNC control before or after the slab is
positioned on the saw table, then a final control either by projection laser or by the operator
using the reference stickers is performed and the cutting process is started. Loading and
offloading the slab is then the only non productive time which is minimized to the shortest
necessary time.
A technical term sheet specifies the implementation of the slab picture into the CAD/CAM
system. The slab picture(s) and job data are identified by bar code and automatically made
available on the job preparation and production computers. Due to available slab and job data,
production drawings can be created in advance.
Bar coding or labeling: Fewer errors and more automation during production due to unique
identification of jobs and slabs.

INTEGRATION
&
AUTOMATION
3.1 CNC Automation
By integrating of the postprocessor of your CNC equipment into our CAD/CAM module lets you
prepare work much easier. The drawing made in the quote, than modified with the actual
measurements are used directly and the assigned work is overlaid with the CAM processes as
defined in the quote. After successful simulation and eventual manual modifications the data
is sent to the appointed CNC machine within our production client.
This module helps to reduce manually assigning of the CAM process of your CNC saw, waterjet
or CNC work centre. Module is optional but on the long run helps to reduce job prep time,
production errors and materials.
3.2 Advanced Workpapers for Automation
CNC datas and specific workpiece drawings are added.
An integrated nesting offers the possibility to nest a certain (logical) amount of jobs and pieces
with a specific material of your warehouse. Defect areas are blended out during the nesting
process to assure a quality cutting job.
3.3 Project Bidding and Scheduling
A housing project contains a certain amount of Job Quotes with various pre‐conditions. As a
fabricator you need to know projected production volume, production time on the shop floor,
materials, tools and accessories. Simply drag the entire bid to the scheduling module and it
gives you an estimated time for the production depending on the parameters set in the
Machine Operations Module.
3.4 Project Production (Nesting & Automation)
Feeding a CNC saw with the slabs transported on a conveyor system a high grade in
automation is reached with data of the Automation Module and the material control software.
Depending on the slab positioned on the work table all corresponding data is automatically
loaded to the CNC. Final positioning of the slab is done with reference markers and the
projection by laser of the Cut‐layout onto the slab. An operator is merely used as a supervisor
and for controlling.
By integrating of the postprocessor of your CNC equipment into our CAD/CAM module lets
you prepare work much easier. The drawing made in the quote, than modified with the actual
measurements are used directly and the assigned work is overlaid with the CAM processes as
defined in the quote. After successful simulation and eventual manual modifications the data
is sent to the appointed CNC machine within our production client. This module helps to
reduce manually assigning of the CAM process, lets you organize the job flow according to

5. About us
As a Swiss IT and software company we are experienced in process analysis and workflow
optimization. We use our skills in hard‐ and software and mechanical engineering for the
fabrication and process alignment in countertop fabrication.
Over the last three years we have developed a soft‐ and hardware package for one of the
most innovative and demanding fabricators in Switzerland. We began by reorganizing the
production line‐up to get a steady workflow. Next we developed a tool to help in
warehousing and at the same time provide a tool to precisely program and prepare the cut
jobs before the slab is placed on the CNC‐controlled cut saw, the CNC or the waterjet. As a
result, production on the saw nearly doubled. The added job tracking module helped to plan
production and to keep record of the costs. – The TriOpt Solution was born!
For the warehousing, picture taking, slab handling, bar coding, paper handling and data
binding we have developed a hardware package that works in combination with our
software. To really have the best suitable and reliable for the production process, we have
tested various industrial hardware components (like thermal label printers, bar coding
devices, cameras and lenses, industrial computers etc.). Our software interfaces with all
hardware in our package and is adjusted accordingly.
As every fabricator does things differently, the hardware and software requirements may
vary and can be adjusted to the different needs and expectations in a production solution.
Remark:
For a definite quote we need to know some details about the production building, the
warehousing capacity and the equipment used in the actual production process. The TriOpt
solution is not a software package alone; it contains the full range from process analysis to
consulting, a full soft‐ and hardware solution, and installation. From our experience, a
