Order Desk
Enter the market immediately without having to circumvent market data components typically found on a fully integrated monitoring and trading application. There are times you want to enter the market as quickly as possible, no matter where that market is at the time. Order Desk allows you to do just that. Order Desk is a streamlined order entry window divested of its market-monitoring garb.
Note, though, that the market data component doesn’t have to be abandoned. Link Order Desk to any of CQG’s market monitoring tools for the same benefits of integration. Order Desk provides flexibility to those traders who prefer to use separate applications for market monitoring and order placement.
Make Order Desk your own. Display settings provide incredible versatility, allowing you to choose the components you wish to display, the placement of those components on the window, and the tab order for those components. Order Desk also fully supports keyboard trading, so you can abandon that mouse.

Subaccounts on Order Desk
Brokers can create and use subaccounts directly on the Order Desk when placing orders and then quickly access orders on these subaccounts via filtering on the Orders and Positions window. In version 12.1, CQG introduced the concept of subaccounts that allow brokers who trade multiple customer accounts to use a subaccount to identify customer orders while trading from a single account. At that time, subaccounts became available on the Orders and Positions window. Now, CQG expands subaccounts to include Order Desk.
Order Ticket Enhancements
Increase screen real estate by hiding various components of the Order Ticket, including the Orders and Positions display. Move up and down the DOM ladder on the Order Ticket even when focus is on a different window. You also now have more options for deleting orders; modifying size and price on the DOM area; and modifying the size, price, and limit price for stop orders on the Orders and Positions area using the mouse wheel.

Trading Preferences: Keyboard Keys
Program your custom keyboard from our significantly expanded list of keyboard shortcuts.
Even without custom hardware, keyboard traders are sure to cheer this comprehensive set of shortcuts that provides keyboard access to all the tools they need to place and manage orders.
Adding Subaccounts on the Orders and Positions Window
Brokers, improve your workflow by adding a subaccount to identify customer orders while trading from a single account. If you trade multiple customer accounts through one account, you can use order comments to name customer accounts. You can then sort orders by customer for a series of snapshots of those accounts. If a customer calls looking for
information, you can respond immediately by filtering orders and positions information by that account.
Proportional Execution
Disable proportional execution in situations where you do not want the first lot of the secondary leg placed until all lots are filled on the primary leg. For example, consider a 5:3 strategy. Disabling proportional execution allows the system to fill all five lots before the three lots are triggered.

Charting and Studies
Trading Studies
Incorporate trade data into your exit strategies. Using CQG’s new trading studies, you can now consider trade data in your design of custom studies, conditions, and alerts. This data, including open trade equity, position, and profit and loss, can be a valuable factor in determining an exit strategy for defining an event as part of a condition and for triggering an alert action, such as placing an order. These studies can also be used to graphically monitor trade data on charts.
Windows Grouping
Expand the relationships between windows by taking advantage of added windows-linking flexibility. Our popular linking windows have been enhanced to include grouping.
Only one master window can be linked to child windows, but with grouping, windows have a sibling relationship. When you change any sibling window, the same change is made on all of the other sibling windows.

Display of Multiple Volume Profiles
If you have more than one volume profile applied to a chart, hover your mouse over the profile to expose all values. This added feature allows you to see volume changes on different time intervals.
Other Charting Improvements
• Set Autoscale without Studies as the default for all new charts.
• The Remove Study window has some added flexibility. Select one or more studies, then either press the Delete key on your keyboard, click the Remove Selected button on the window, or double-click. Once all studies have been removed, the window closes automatically.

Advanced Analytics
Sound Board
Make sure you know when a market is moving without having to maintain visual contact with windows displaying market data. Set a sound notification to have the system monitor the markets for you and alert you of sweep and other actions. That way you don’t miss potentially meaningful data about current market behavior.
Don’t let market activity go unnoticed among your trading windows. Set unobtrusive sound notifications for changes in last trade or inside market and for DOM changes to inside market or whole book.
The Sound Board can be used in conjunction with DOMTrader®, Order Ticker, Order Ticket, Portfolio Time and Sales,
Quote Board, and Time and Sales.
Delayed Exchanges Available on Market Scan
Add delayed exchanges to your scans, thereby using, for example, daily data in your analysis without your having to subscribe to real-time exchange data.

CQG Spreader
New Execution Parameters
Control your CQG Spreader messaging with new execution parameters, namely the Active Price Range and Min Size Increment fields. Mitigate high messaging by defining the range around the best bid/offer, defining what to do with orders outside this range, and thereby ignoring small price movements.
Positions for Traded Spreads
Gain a precise picture of your exposure. Now you can track your positions and profit/loss in spread contracts (exchange-traded, synthetic, calendar, and inter-commodity) based upon filled spread orders for more transparency. For example, if you have a long position in the FYT (Five-Year Treasury versus a Ten-Year Treasury) and a short position in the NOB (Ten-Year Treasury versus the Thirty-(Ten-Year Bond), you will know the OTE of each of those strategies based on the ICS markets and independent of the outright positions.
Fractional Trade Ratios
Use fractional trade ratios in your CQG Spreader orders. You can now accurately hedge your futures or fixed income spreads with respect to the order size. Configure a single strategy with fractional trade ratios, enter your order size, and let CQG Spreader work the necessary hedge size for you.

Multiplication and Division in Synthetic Spread Formulas
Spread similar commodities quoted in different currencies. Trade ratios. By adding the ability to multiply and divide in synthetic strategy formulas, CQG significantly expands your options when devising strategies.
Commodities quoted in different currencies can be converted to a single currency. For example, SPREAD(FSUGR - SPREAD(2.2046 / 100 * SBE * FUS / 1000)).
You can trade Gasoline/Crude Oil, Gold/Silver, Gold/Crude as well as other well-known ratios. For example, SPREAD(RBE/CLE).
Use these formulas with CQG’s full suite of charting and analytics tools.
CQG Spreader handles orders with maximum efficiency. Server-side order management ensures faster execution. Benefit from ultra-low latency no matter where you are on the globe.
