A very good morning to all the Speakers, Delegates, Exhibitors, Student delegates and participants present here.

On behalf of the organizing committee, it gives me immense pleasure to cordially invite you to the 30th World Congress on Advanced Nursing Practice by Conference series.

I thank you all for finding time from your busy schedule to be here today. Today marks the major activity in the brief existence of the Conference Series, a moment where we are interacting, sharing experiences and reflecting on various areas related to Nursing and Healthcare. Nursing Practice -2017 aims to bring together CEO’s, directors, Physicians, Nursing Lecturers, Clinicians, Surgeons, Healthcare Professionals, Nurses, leading Entrepreneurs, Industry experts, Industry leaders, Scientists, and scholars to exchange & share their experiences, research results on the theme “Exploring Latest Innovations and Advances in Nursing Practice” and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted..

We cordially welcome you to join us and witness the advances in this field together.

Conference Series would like to thank all the individuals & Organizations who have worked to make this event success. Conference Series employees and program committee have put in long hours and many creative efforts finally, my appreciation to the participants of this conference. - I call upon Maria Teresa Parisotto, Fresenius Medical Care, Germany Biography:

Maria Teresa Parisotto obtained the Nursing Diploma in 1974 and the Nursing Management Diploma in 1976. At the beginning of her career she worked as Nurse Manager. In 1980 she left the hospital and started to work as Application Specialist. In 1999 she moved to Fresenius Medical Care headquarters as Director Peritoneal Dialysis for Europe, Middle East and Africa. From 2006 till 2016, she worked in Fresenius Medical Care Deutschl and GmbH–Nephro Care Coordination, Bad Homburg, Germany as Director of Nursing Care Management for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Currently she is working at the Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH–Care Value Management, as Chief Nurse Advisor. Her publications focused on peritoneal dialysis, haemodialysis safety and quality, and vascular access cannulation and care. She participated in scientific projects with EDTNA/ERCA as co-author for the development of “Environmental Guidelines for Dialysis.

Since 1993 she has had a long and successful career in healthcare working in different clinical areas including Critical Care Nursing, Patient Advocacy, and Patient Care Manager for Ambulatory Care . Denyse is also an Adjunct Lecturer with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.

In her role she has planned and implemented many new initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. As a leader, she is constantly seeking creative ways to foste dynamic learning environment to promote high quality patient care and continuous quality improvements.

Biography:

Han Roeters trained as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Anaethetist in the Netherlands. After emigrating to New Zealand (NZ) in 1984, he registered as a NZRN and holds a MA in Health Sciences and PgDip in Health Informatics from the University of Otago, Dunedin, NZ. He has held several senior nursing and health management positions. Currently he is a Senior Nursing Lecturer at UCOL in Palmerston North, NZ. He has 10 year experience in competency assessment of IQN. He has given several conference presentations in a variety of subjects including dementia care, health informatics and nursing simulation.

Biography:

Ursula Småland Goth (MSc. MBA MPH PhD) is Professor of Nursing Science and Migration Health at VID Specialized University. She completed her nursing training at the School of Nursing in Vienna (Austria) and has since been working with vulnerable groups such as migrants and deprived citizens.

Dr. Opsahl has 27 years of experience as a registered nurse and serves as an Assistant Professor for Indiana University School of Nursing. In her previous professional role, she was the Quality Data Manager for Franciscan Health for the three area campus hospitals of Carmel, Indianapolis, and Mooresville, Indiana, USA. This position allowed her the opportunity to influence patient care through collection/submission and analysis of patient outcomes by communicating trends to staff, physicians, and administrators to improve the overall patient experience and support positive patient outcomes. Dr. Opsahl continues to assist Franciscan Health with areas of patient safety and quality improvement today. Additionally, she served as adjunct faculty for University of Indianapolis School of Nursing in the MSN program with content areas related to APRN Roles and Ethics. Dr. Opsahl has published in the Journal of Nursing Care Quality and had multiple presentations nationally on program outcomes. She is a member of Indiana Association for Healthcare Quality (President), NAHQ,

Chad D Rasmussen has completed his BSN in 1996 from Morningside College, and his Master of Science from Creighton University in 2005. He is currently an Instructor of Surgery and an Assistant Professer of Family Medicine for the Mayo Clnic College of Medicine. He has practiced as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric ICU, CVSICU, Level One Trauma Centers, Flight Nursing, APRN in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care. He is currently a Nurse Practitioner at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN working in Family Medicine
