Abbey Rise is on Whitchurch Road close to Abbey Bridge and almost opposite the Abbey pay and display public car park. The closest business is Tavyside Heath Centre for which there is a prominent sign visible from the Whitchurch Road. Grid Ref: SX482742

The car parking area on Pixon Lane is just below the Market Inn and the entrance is close to the old railway bridge. It is sometimes referred to locally as “Kings” and there is assign to this effect at the entrance.
