USER GUIDE

Following free and pre-activated services are offered on Nayatel phone lines.

Code Barring

Call W aiting makes your phone line never busy for incoming calls and allows you to listen to another incoming call while putting first caller on hold. During the conversation, if the second call is received on your number, you will hear a beep during the conversation. To listen to the second call, do the following:

Press Flash/Cradle Key and Digit “2” on your keypad to start conversation with the second caller. This will put the first caller on hold.

After finishing with the second caller, press the Flash/Cradle Key and Digit “2” to resume conversation with the first caller.

Code Barring Services allows customers to block outgoing calls on NWD, mobile and international destinations. By default, all outgoing calls are open. You can block the outgoing calls through following procedure:-

Select a 4-digit PIN as per your choice. For example, if you want to set your PIN as 1234, you will have to dial *33*1234*3# from your phone to set 1234 as your PIN.

To block Nationwide, Cell Phone and International Dialing, dial

Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding enables you to never miss your calls when you’re away from phone. This facility redirects incoming calls on your phone to your desired number (All forwarded calls will be charged as per tariff). Call Forwarding can work in any one of the following three

cases:-Incoming calls to your Nayatel telephone will be immediately forwarded to your desired number. To enable immediate call forwarding on your telephone line, proceed as follows:

* 2 1 * (NUM) #

(NUM) is the number, to which you want to forward your calls from your Nayatel Telephone.

To disable immediate call forwarding on your telephone line, proceed as follows:

# 2 1 #

IMMEDIATE CALL FORW AR DING

If your phone line is unanswered for 8 rings or 30 seconds, the call will be forwarded to your desired number.

To enable CALL FORWARDING IF NO REPLY, proceed as follows:

*61*(NUM) #

(NUM) is the number, to which you want to forward your calls from your phone.

To disable CALL FORWARDING IF NO REPLY on your phone line, proceed as follows:

Incoming calls can also be forwarded to your desired number, if your phone line is busy.

To enable CALL FORWARDING IF LINE BUSY on your Nayatel telephone, proceed as follows:

(NUM) is the number, to which you want to forward your calls from your Nayatel Telephone

To disable CALL FORWARDING IF LINE BUSY on your Nayatel telephone, proceed as follows:

Speed Dialing

Speed dialing enables you to store specific and frequently dialed numbers. You can press a single key to dial the complete number and can store up to 10 speed dialing numbers in your list with keys from 0-9. To register speed dialing digit for a specific number, proceed as follows:

Where m is the speed dialing digit and NUM is the telephone number you wish to dial against this digit.

For example if you want to set the digit 2 as the speed dialing digit of telephone number 8312401, you will have to dial *51*2*8312401# from your phone. You can compile a list of 10 numbers starting from digits 0 to 9. After compiling a list, you will have to activate this service.

To active speed dialing, dial

*51*m#

(where m is the speed dialing digit, you want to activate). To deactivate speed dialing, dial

#51*m#

(where m is the speed dialing digit, you want to deactivate)

Wake up service enables you to set an alarm to wake you up at desired time. This service can be activated by following process:

To activate the service on your phone, dial

*55*HHMM#

Where HH is the hour and MM is the minute at which you want to receive call.For instance, if you want to set the call for 5:30 am, dial *55*0530#. If you want to set the call for 8:45 pm, dial *55*2045#.

To deactivate the wakeup call, dial

You can only set time of wakeup call for next 24 Hours only. No call is charged for this service.

Wake up Call

Doesn’t Disturb service enable a pre-recorded message on your phone informing the callers that you are not available and they should call you at another time.

To enable the service, dial

By using this service, you will be able to transfer an incoming call to another number by using following procedure:

You receive a call from a number. Put the first caller on hold by pressing the FLASH/Cradle Key and then Digit “2”.

You will now hear the normal dial tone. Dial the number of second person. When the call is answered, press the FLASH/Cradle Key and Digit “4” and disconnect the call.

After disconnecting the call, both the other callers will be connected to each other.

Call Transfer

INCOMING C ALL TRANS FER

Call Transfer enables you to transfer any incoming or outgoing call to any phone number.

OUTGOING CALL TRANSF ER

By using this service, you can dial two numbers and connect them with each other by using following procedure:

Call the first number from your phone.

Put this first call on hold by pressing the FLASH/Cradle Key and then Digit “2”. You will hear the normal dial tone. Dial the second number.

Press the Flash/Cradle Key and then Digit “4” and then disconnect the call. Both the other callers will be connected to each other.

Conference call enables you to speak to two different phone numbers at a time. Following is the procedure to make a three way conference call.

Call the first caller.

When the call is answered, put the first caller on Hold by pressing the Flash/Cradle Key and then Digit 2.

Press the cradle again to get the dial tone. Dial the second number

When the call is answered, press the Flash/Cradle Key and Digit 3. You are in conference with the other two callers.
