2-Qualification

Desirable: Basic knowledge in Computers. Scale of Pay

PB-l, ~5200-20200/-, Grade Pay: ~1900/-.

Age Between 18 and 27 years (relaxation of age up to maximum of 5 years for Sportsperson) as on closing date of receipt of application by SQAE (V). Age relaxation for other applicable categories is admissible as per latest instructions/orders issued by Government of India.

Note: The age relaxation for Government servants will be admissible where an employee has rendered not less than three years regular service under Central Government (not on ad-hoc basis).

-GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

(Please read the instructions carefully before filling the applications)

1. Application in the prescribed format on A-4 size plain paper as given at Appendix 'A' duly typed or neatly hand written in English or Hindi language and supported with attested copies of the relevant mark sheets/ date of birth certificates, Meritorious sport Certificates issued by the relevant Sports Controlling Authorities as mentioned below should be forwarded to The SQAO, Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Vehicles), DGQA Complex, Meenambakkam East, Chennai-600 114 clearly super scribing the Name of the post, Advertisement No. and date on the TOP of the envelope.

2. Applications addressed to The SQAO, SQAE (vehlcles). DGQA Complex, Meenambakkam, Chennai-600114 as per the format at Appendix 'A' shall be sent only by Registered/Speed post. Applications will not be accepted through courier or by hand. The last date of receipt of applications is within 21 days (28 days in respect of candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Naqaiand, Tripura, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts and. Panji Sub-division of Charnba district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island or Lakshadweep Island) from the date of pubncation of the this advertisement.

3. The Management reserves the right of short-listing the applications/ candidates on ,-reasonable grounds (like qualification, level of participation in 'sports of the candidates, etc.).Therefore, applicants should .mention all, tHe qualiflcatrons. and meritorious achievements in the relevant games/sports and work experience and should attach attested copies of the certificate with the application in support thereof.

4. The selection of candidate will be based on his/her performance in field trials, personal interview subject to the Medical fitness and Police verification from concerned

authority. J .

5. Two recent passport size (3.5cm x 4.5cm) coloured photograph must be pasted on the application form and admit card respectively duly attested by Gazetted officer(Class I). The seal of the attesting officer must have his name, designation and office details.

7. The free travel concession extended by Ministry of Railways to appear in test/interview for selection to Central Government jobs for unemployed youth shall be availed of by concerned applicants. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the written test/interview from this establishment.

8. Appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the selection process without assigning any reason.

9. Applicants should note that, if at any stage of recruitment, it is found that the candidate has submitted any false/fabricated information/documents, his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately and he/she will be liable for criminal charges under IPe. 10. The candidate working in Govt. office/public sector undertaking / autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel and they should submit NOC along with a certificate from their Head of Office that "No disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or is being contemplated against his/her or he/she is under currency of penalty".

11. New Contributory Pension Policy will be applicable to the selected candidate.,

12. The appointment is temporary but likely to continue.

13 Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification and candidature is liable to be summarily rejected.

14. Incomplete or unsigned application and applications received without photographs or without proper enclosures or received after due date will be summarily rejected and no query in this regard will be entertained.
