Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship Sponsor: Elks National Foundation Amount: Several four-year scholarships

Eligibility: High School senior who is a citizen of the United States. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Student applications must be submitted to the Elks Lodge closest to the student’s permanent U.S. address. BURGER KING General Track Scholarship

Sponsor: Burger King McLamore Foundation Amount: Varies

Eligibility: Be graduating high school seniors (U.S. and Puerto Rico) or graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from a home school education. Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalent. Plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2015-16 academic year at an accredited two-or four-year

Amount: Unlimited $2,000.00 Scholarships Offered

Eligibility: Seniors of 2014 interested in Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology at the Henderson Campus.

Emergency Educational Grants

Sponsor: Nevada State Elks Association

Amount: Renewable one year grants of up to $4000

Eligibility: This grant provides college financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks. Applicant needs to attend an accredited U.S. college or university as a full-time (12) semester hours) student. Demonstrate financial need, be unmarried and under the age of 23 as of December 31, of the academic year for which assistance is desired. For more

Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

Sponsor: GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

Amount: Each year the program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years - up to $40,000 total per recipient.

Eligibility: Have a minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent. Demonstrate at school , the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Be citizens of the United States and demonstrate financial need. Ron Brown Scholarship

Sponsor: Ron Brown Scholar Program

Amount: $10,000 annually, renewable up to three additional years

Eligibility: High school seniors who are Black/African Americans planning to enroll as full-time freshman in college are eligible for this award. Applicants should demonstrate

academic achievement, exhibit leadership ability, participate in community service activities, demonstrate financial need and be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent

Truman D. Picard Scholarship

Sponsor: Intertribal Timber Council Amount: $2,000

Eligibility: Native American/Alaskan graduating senior high school students pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources. Please submit Letter of Application, resume, three letters of reference, evidence of validated enrollment in a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation, as established by the U.S. Government. Eligibility: LARS is presenting the Neal Lyon High School Drug Prevention Scholarship to graduating seniors in 2014-15 academic years and who are enrolled in a public or private high school, high school equivalency program or home school programs recognized by the local school system and sanctioned by the State of Nevada. The $1,000 Scholarship is awarded to the

Sponsor: Judith Wright/Family of Gary Wright Amount: $1,000.00

Eligibility: Graduating Clark High School senior with a GPA of 2.75 or above. Successful

completion (C or above) of at least 4 high school music performance classes (i.e. Choir, Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band etc.) and have a full-time enrollment in a four year college or university with a music major or minor. Essay - typed, explaining background, any work experience, information about their musical talents, and description of the music

leadership skills. A high school transcript should be submitted together with a letter of recommendation from their high school music teacher, if taking private music lessons, a letter of recommendation from their instructor.
