1. I think having more days and times available at the IVC campus would be a huge plus! It’s hard to work around other classes with only two days available to go to mahlab. Also, more tutors available to assist everyone.

2. The help I received in the mathlab has been instrumental in my success here at College of Marin and it has helped me to achieve my goal of attending U. C. Berkeley.

3. Have more tutors for statistics PLEASE!

4. I just want to say the the mathlab won’t be the same without LInsay. Nevertheless, I appreciate all the help I get from the new, younger tutors.

5. The mathlab should be utilized by ONLY the students who are enrolled in any math class and anyone who are not enrolled in math self paced or any math class, should use the cafe. Often, I find myself distracted by noises i.e students who utilize the mathlab as a social place. 6. The tutors are crucial to the self paced students, due to the fact that we don’t have a proper teacher. We need our tutors!

7. Add more student tutors to assist students . Add more student or instructor tutors who are capable of doing calculus and higher math.

8. There could be more tutors in the afternoon that would a lot. 9. Tutors at IVC would be helpful.

10. If there were more tutors on staff on a daily basis, students wouldn’t have to wait so long to receive help and would get through their homework faster, and they would have a better chance of keeping up with their homework and passing tests. I feel that overall, students would have a better chance of getting through their required math courses quicker if there were more tutors on staff.

11. I transferred from CCSF last semester. Their math lab there has 1 tutor helping 30+

students. I struggled to pass my algebra course because of inavailability. I think that access to tutors is critical for student success.

12. Thankx!

13, None

14. The mathlab is a critical part of the math community. Many of us have to do well in math and that comes w/ adequate staffed and availability to the services in the lab. I wish there was more funding available for more staff/tutors. It would possibly encourage students to come

more frequently and build confidence for higher mathematics. What is available is good. We just need more math tutors/teachers.

15. I love the tutors this semester, Adela, The woman w/dog (Dottie), Tom (really really really miss LIndsay- she was the best at really teaching.)

17. I would love more tutors & more open lab hours.

18. Loss of two tutors was a set back to me. More tutors, where is Salomon? 19. Nope

20. In addition to the mathlab hours, it would be great if the tutors are available online. Sometimes when I’m at home I need help, I could email my questions in particular during the mahlab hours. (from a person in 101XY)

21. It is very loud in the tutoring room. Some sound proofing is really needed.

22. Definitely some weekend hours would be valuable for most students (to fill in the gaps)! 23. Great service offered by the college and very friendly atmosphere.

24. Have students keep the noise level down. It would help if students did sit around the tables socializing talking laughing. We (some of us) are here for quiet study.

25. Those guys are awesome! Keep them please!
