Nursing Program 55 Fair Drive Costa Mesa, CA 92626  1-888-9DEGREE April 2009

Dear Prospective Nursing Student,

It is with great pleasure that I send you the information for our professional RN to BSN program, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Using an advisory committee from local colleges, universities, and hospitals, we have developed an exciting course of study that will provide you with what you need to obtain your BSN while using, in a practical way, the things you will learn in each class. The majority of the general education degree requirements may have already been completed during your ADN course of study. If you need to complete any of the required general education courses, these courses may be available here in our same

convenient five-week format.

The RN to BSN program is designed to fit into the schedule of working professionals, with classes offered one at a time and meeting one evening per week. In two years (or six semesters) you will achieve your goal and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Vanguard University is at the forefront of educational innovation in Orange County with

participation and support from Hoag Hospital, Memorial Care Hospitals, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County, as well as local community college nursing programs. They have contributed to a BSN program that meets the needs of the working RN seeking to improve themselves educationally and professionally. We are confident that you will be satisfied with your education at Vanguard University

Sincerely,

Carol Taylor, Ph.D. President
