The easy-to-read accurate scale printed on both sides of the syringe facilitates reliable dosing of the fluid under all handling conditions.
Reliable plunger stop
The integral plunger stop effectively prevents inadver-tent extraction of the plunger and thus increases handling safety.
Latex-free and
non-polluting materials
The materials employed by CODAN are Latex-free and chemically inert. Apart from the conventional transparent materials, light-proof syringes and colour-coded plungers are also available.
All plastics employed in the manufacturing process are particularly compatible with the environment and easily disposable!
Total connectivity
The disposable syringes by CODAN are available with all common connectors (see table). If needed, custom-built models may be also be ordered.
Patented syringe technology

The patented CODAN ONCE INJECT®injection syringe is used just like a normal standard syringe in i.v., s.c., and i.m. injections. Its small volume of just 0.5 ml ensures truly easy handling. After drawing the medication and the skin punc-ture, the plunger will separate from the silicone stopper automatically and permanently once the plunger is plunged. After the application, the plunger head will remain at the end of the cylinder, thereby rendering any re-use of the syringe impossible.
Naturally, our disposable syringes are the perfect choice for the CODAN ARGUS syringe pumps. The calibrated profiles for the 10 - 50 ml CODAN Syringes with Luer-Lock connector have already been pro-grammed into the syringe pumps, thereby ensuring rapid and safe patient care.
All disposable syringes by CODAN with Luer and Luer-Lock connector are the perfect choice for applications with needle-free systems. An especially easy-to-handle and safe system for all types of applications is the patented CODAN SWAN-LOCK® connector.

CODAN manufactures three-part disposable syringes only. They comprise the cylinder plunger, and a thin silicone ring mounted separately and acting as a sliding seal. This design is substantially more complex than that of regular two-part syringes – but without it, the accuracy and smooth operation requi-red for fast and safe handling in routine clinical prac-tice could never be met.

The exceptionally thin silicone ring in CODAN Disposable syringes virtually guarantees a particularly smooth operation.
