Nursing Scholarship Recipient
Traci Sheesley, R.N., MHA, CCRN
Clinical Manager, Cardiac ICU, Neuro & Surgical ICU, Rapid Response Team
18 years with Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento
Traci’s manager, Kim Meyers, suggested she apply for a scholarship
to continue her education. Traci says, “It goes to show the support
Sutter Health has for its employees. Kim was very encouraging
and supportive of me going back to school and helping me. I have
two young children, I work full-time and was going to school.
The scholarship was another way to show that support and
give a little bit to help me accomplish this goal.”
Shelly’s compassion and professionalism have touched the lives of countless patients and their families. As a role model, mentor and leader, Shelly inspired caregivers to reach their highest potential.
