● High tensile rolled steel profile ● Lightweight section at 8.4 kg/m ● Nailing holes in top flange ● 10 kNm bending capacity
The MINI MKII SOLDIER is a versatile lightweight formwork beam that has been designed to give a robust, easy-to-handle solution to awkward formwork areas. The section profile has been optimised, giving an excellent balance of strength and weight. The section is rolled from special high tensile steel, allowing a lightweight section to be utilised. The beam has also been structurally engineered to allow regular lightening apertures, giving the benefit of reduced weight, along with the opportunity to fix accessories to the beam.
The MINI MKII SOLDIER is suitable as a primary beam for small-to-medium wall or base pours, a stop-end beam for general wall formwork pours, or as a lightweight support beam.
The heavy duty hot-dip galvanised finish to the beam offers a superior robust steel coating giving maximum longevity. An added feature of the beam is the nailing holes in the top flange, giving the opportunity to fix directly to plywood or timber. The beam can also be used inverted, where the open flange allows DU-AL beams to be clamped securely.

The use of aluminium over timber has great advantages. Aluminium is lighter and stronger than timber and therefore allows larger assemblies of formwork, which in turn reduces the labour cost of fixing and erecting.
SGB offers two types of DU-AL aluminium waling beam, the standard S150 for general use, and the T150, which is a stronger section and ideal for use where the soldier centres need to be wider apart.

The panel is surface-finished with a robust hot-dip galvanising to give longevity and lower maintenance, resulting in reduced costs. Manufactured to tight tolerances, panels are clamped rigidly together with a unique Alignment, Locking and Levelling ALL Clamp with a single hammer blow. This action is so secure that form assemblies can then be crane-handled without additional structural members. A large number of re-uses are then feasible without the need for time-consuming stripping down.
The panels feature a special rolled steel profile 140 mm in depth that combines with high quality 18 mm plywood. This is supported at 300 mm centres and edge-sealed in polyurethane. Multiple tie holes allow for tie rods/plates, all of which are positioned for maximum panel stiffness and strength.
Flexibility
The LOGIK 60 system features a full range of sizes that offer the flexibility to cope with a wide variety of situations encountered.
Single sided forms
SGB LOGIK 60 panels can also be used to form single-sided wall forms in conjunction with SGB MULTIFORM components in an A-Frame configuration.
Column forms
Standard panel forms can be employed for highly rigid, high-quality finishes in column forms with a wide variety of different column size options. Avoids the need for time-consuming timber and waling assemblies, by utilising the strength of the novel column coupler component.
Circular (polygonal) forms
Standard LOGIK panels can be used to create impressive circular (polygonal) structures in conjunction with the use of their versatile panel clamps and tie plates.

LOGIK 50
WALL FORMWORK MAN-HANDLED
Description
LOGIK 50 is a 50 kN/m2strength, versatile panel system with unit weights of approximately 35 kg/m2. This makes it suitable for projects requiring man-handling capability where crane access is restricted or impractical.
Simple in use, but smart in design concept, the panels are secured in a similar way to the crane-handled version. A lightweight clamp is pre-set and clamped single-handed in one simple action.
It can be attached at any number of horizontal or vertical positions. Once fastened, a tight connection is maintained to avoid grout loss. The holes are positioned at the strongest part of the panel.
Flexibility
The component solutions are fast, flexible and offer a good standard of finish with minimal grout loss, avoiding the need to import timber elements requiring special skills.
Single sided forms
SGB LOGIK 50 panels can also be used to form single-sided wall forms in conjunction with SGB MULTIFORM components in an A-Frame configuration.

LOGIK 360
WALL FORMWORK CIRCULAR
LOGIK 360
● Truly circular panel formwork system ● Fast and simple setting procedure. ● Fully assembled panels.
● Lightweight slim profile ● Compatible with LOGIK 60
LOGIK 360 is the first plywood-faced truly circular panel formwork system. The patented design of LOGIK 360
demonstrates SGB Formwork’s innovative approach to circular formwork.
LOGIK 360 has very few components, cutting the chances of site losses to an absolute minimum. A LOGIK 360 wall is constructed with a 1.24 m Inner Panel, a 1.25 m Outer Panel, LOGIK 60 Ties and Tie Washers, and LOGIK 60 Adjustable Clamps.
The new design has eliminated the hundreds of bolts, turnbuckles, beams, walers and multiple components commonly used on older systems.
Crane handling and transport are also much easier with LOGIK 360, because of the low unit weight of approximately 58 kg/m2, combined with the slim profile of the panel, measuring just 140 mm deep.
The standard SGB Formwork panels can be used for circular walls down to 4 m minimum radius. Further panels are available to cope with smaller radii, down to 2.5 m minimum radius.
LOGIK 360 is also fully compatible with the LOGIK 60 panels, making transitions from straight walls to circular walls simple and easy.

MULTIFORM CIRCULAR
WALL FORMWORK CIRCULAR
The System
MULTIFORM Circular Formwork System is suitable for double-sided curved walls with a minimum outer radius of 5 m. It offers easy setting and adjustment of curvature with wide spacing of ties @ 1.25 m (1.88 m2/tie).
Concrete pressures of up to 60 kN/m2 can be accommodated.
Minimum adjustment infill solutions, either external or internal, give maximum versatility to all stock.
General Guidelines Plan detail
1) Set the panels to the correct radii by turning the adjustable clamp. 2) Lift the panels into place.
3) Connect the adjoining panels with the wedged articulated coupling.
4) Make finite adjustments with the adjustable spindle and articulated coupling.
Adjustment clamp details
1) The adjustable clamp slides onto the MF1 Waler and is bolted onto the MF3 beam.
2) Adjustment is then made by turning the screw thread of the adjustable clamp. Infill details
1) Simple infill details allow gaps to be compensated for with a minimum of adjustment.
2) This means standard size panels can be fully utilised for all radii and wall thicknesses.

MULTIFORM A-FRAMES
WALL FORMWORK SINGLE-SIDED
Multiform A–Frames
● Single-sided forming ● 2 m – 5 m modular sizes ● Larger sizes available ● Sliding foot feature
● Compatible with all formwork types
MULTIFORM A-Frames are used in the construction of single-sided walls when tieing through the formwork is not possible.
A-Frames are used for the construction of concrete walls cast against the face of existing walls in basement construction or similar.
MULTIFORM A-Frames are available in 2 m, 3 m, and 5 m modular sizes, fully assembled for immediate use on site. They are compatible with all LOGIK panel formwork as well as traditional soldier and beam formwork.
The frames are made up largely of bolted connections, making repair and
maintenance simple and easy. Accessories for the A-Frames such as walkway brackets are fully compatible with LOGIK panel formwork, making good cross-utilisation of products. The A-Frames contain a “Sliding foot” feature to enable the wall to be fully tightened to the wall kicker.
The 2 m Mini A-Frame is ideal for the construction of deep base pours where tie deformation prevents the use of double-sided concrete pours. The modular units allow simple, fast, reliable installation. The Mini A-Frame contains a unique frame-setting feature, allowing the units to be anchored and accurately aligned in just two actions.

CUPLOK SUPPORT
SLAB FORMWORK STEEL SHORING
SGB CUPLOK was the first ever
galvanised, multi-purpose scaffold system in the UK. It is a well proven heavy duty support system which is relatively light and easy to assemble and suitable for falsework support or access, building and civil engineering projects.
SGB’s experience of using CUPLOK on projects all over the world enables us to offer you absolute confidence when using this system.
The principal feature of CUPLOK is the unique node point - locking up to four horizontals in one single action without the use of nuts, bolts or wedges. The locking device is formed by a fixed lower cup, which is welded to the vertical at 0.5 m intervals, and a sliding upper cup. The forged blade ends of the horizontals are located in the lower cup. The upper cup is moved down and rotated by hammer blows to give a positive and rigid connection.
Hot-dipped galvanising is the finest practical coating that can be applied to a scaffold system, providing a long working life and better handling to the user as well as improved appearance and durability.
Soffit support
The range of CUPLOK equipment gives the system the capability to tackle virtually any soffit support application with the most cost-effective approach. We can provide a large number of grid variations to fit steel, aluminium or timber joists. Complimenting CUPLOK is our DU-AL Aluminium Beam System. DU-AL ’s high strength and low weight result in increased productivity.
The DU-AL system comprises a selection of 3 beams in a variety of lengths. In each case the beams are supported in
Forkheads and fastened by means of a quick fixing clamp.
Benefits
The key advantages of CUPLOK over traditional scaffolding are:
●74 kN leg load
●Unique node point: 4 connections in one ●Systemised quick erection bracing ●20% lighter than traditional scaffolding
Fast connections and 74 kN with
the original system scaffold

CLIMBING FORMWORK CRANE-CLIMBING
Multiform Climbing Bracket
● Integral climbing of formwork and
platform
● Panel formwork or traditional formwork ● Allows a variety of secondary beams ● Trip-free access deck
MULTIFORM Climbing Brackets are a robust economical solution to the integral climbing of formwork and access platforms. The system can be used with either LOGIK panel formwork or MKII SOLDIER and DU-AL aluminium beam formwork. The formwork is fixed to the travelling cart assembly and simply rolled back along a rack and pinion, giving huge savings in craneage time. The versatile MULTIFORM Climbing Bracket allows a variety of secondary platform beams to be used, up to a maximum size of 225 mm, giving a stiff reliable platform for any size span or cantilever.
When the next anchor point has been fixed, the whole unit is lifted up, giving a safe area for reinforcement to be fixed. The anchor point consists of a recoverable anchor cone, with a nailing disc to assist casting the cone into the wall pour. The MULTIFORM Climbing Brackets come with a range of trailing platforms for access to the cast face for making good and recovering anchor cones.
The internal platform beams can be climbed either using the pivoting foot, or an internal shoe bolted onto the wall. If the pivoting foot is used, a special steel mould is available for casting the correct shaped bearing port into the wall.

With a safe working load of up to 25kN, the CL25 bracket can provide safe access and formwork support for lifted pours. It also simplifies the process of fixing soffit edge formwork.
Supported from an existing tie point or cast-in anchor, the triangulated design of the frame allows simple installation and reduces the risk of damage to the concrete finish.
Complete assemblies can be pre-fabricated on the ground and lifted into place to support both personnel and formwork. With decking, toeboards and handrails, a secure working area can be provided.
Benefits
● Maximum SWL of 25 kN (2.5 tonnes) ● Single fixing point to concrete ● Can accommodate trailing work
platform
● Can be supported from tie fixing point ● Provides safe working deck at any
height
● Maximum 2.4 m horizontal spacing ● Continuous deck possible around
outside corners

HIGHRISER
CLIMBING FORMWORK SELF-CLIMBING
Highriser
● Self-climbing formwork ● Independent of crane
● Steel-faced or ply-faced formwork ● Jumpform or Climbform
HIGHRISER is a self-climbing formwork system for the construction of high-rise concrete cores or bridge piers. The system is able to operate totally independently of a crane, after an initial set-up, and hydraulically climb up the structure. The system is available in either “Jumpform” or “Climbform”. The Jumpform system climbs within a confined core with a steel table
cantilevering out over the external walls to support the external shutters and platform. The Climbform system climbs up the external face of the wall only.
The units are jacked up in a rack system by a series of interconnecting hydraulic jacks. The bearing feet of the frames are always maintained at a low enough distance from the pour level, such that concrete curing time is not a critical issue. The basic climbing units can be used with either steel-faced forms or ply-faced forms to suit the project.
The design is versatile enough to cope with any shape of structure, and changes in plan dimensions can also be designed into the frame.
