Q: What is Citibank Ready Credit FAQ?

A: Citibank Ready Credit (“CRC”) is an unsecured personal overdraft with checking facility. With CRC, you can perform cash withdrawals at ATM, pay your purchases by swiping your CRC VISA Debit & ATM Card at merchant outlet bearing the VISA logo, perform fund transfers and issue cheques.

Q: Do I have to pay anything if I don't use my credit line?

A: CRC is a pay-as-you-use product, meaning you do not have to pay for any interest charges unless you use your credit line.

Q: Will I be charged any withdrawal fees when I make ATM withdrawals? A: There will be no charges of any withdrawal fees, but withdrawals of cash at VISA PLUS ATM are subject to a RM10 transaction fee and MEPS Shared ATM is subject to a RM4 transaction fee. Overseas withdrawals are subject to 1% commission fee on local currency equivalent of overseas transacted amount.

Q: What charges do I have to pay upfront when I apply for CRC?

A: You will have to pay RM8 for your CRC VISA Debit & ATM Card. If you choose to have a CRC cheque book, you will have to pay RM7.50 for the cheque book and RM2.50 postage fee.

Q: I don't have a CRC cheque book and would like to apply for one. How do I do this?

A: Just fill out the Cheque book Requisition Form which you can find in your Welcome Pack, and present it personally in any Citibank branch.

Q: What happens if I lose my CRC VISA Debit & ATM Card or cheque book? A: Just call our 24-hours CitiPhone Banking immediately. We will temporarily freeze your VISA Debit & ATM Card / checking facility (but not your CRC account). At the

same time, we will arrange for a new CRC VISA Debit & ATM Card / cheque book for you.

Q: Can I enjoy Citi Rewards Points with my CRC VISA Debit & ATM card? A: Yes. You can enjoy 1 Citibank Rewards Point for every RM1 spent, when you swipe your card for purchases at merchant outlets bearing the VISA logo.

Q: Can I perform fund transfers with Citibank Ready Credit?

A: Yes, you may transfer funds to any Current and/or Saving account of your choice with CRC account, through any Citibank ATM or MEPS Shared ATM, Citibank Online (CBOL), CitiPhone Banking or over the counter at any Citibank branch. Please note that all interbank GIRO transfers will be charged a fee of RM0.50 per transaction and MEPS Shared ATMs is subject to a RM4 transaction fee.

Q: What happens if I go overlimit?

A: Overlimit is not allowed. If you issue a cheque(s) which results in your CRC account going overlimit, your cheque(s) will be dishonored and you will have to pay a handling fee of RM100 per dishonored cheque. If your account goes overlimit due to interest or other fees and charges, the overlimit portion will be charged to your following Minimum Payment due in your next statement.

Q: What happens if I cannot make my monthly Minumum Payment due on time?

A: You will incur a late/insufficient payment charge of 1% per annum on the previous statement's Minimum Payment Due for every late or insufficient payment. This will accrue on a daily basis from the next day after the Minimum Payment Due date. When you are unable to pay 100% of your Minimum Payment due over a period of two consecutive months since your CRC statement date, the Default Interest Rate will automatically supersede the Boarding Rate.

Q: How do I revert from Default Interest Rate to Boarding Rate?

A: To revert from Default Interest Rate to Boarding Rate, you have to make 100% of your Minimum Payment due in cleared funds or before the following month's

statement date, for at least 6 consecutive months following the imposition of the Default Rate.

Balance Transfer via Instalment FAQ

Q: What is Citibank Ready Credit Balance Transfer via Instalment (CRC BTI)? A: CRC BTI allows you to transfer your outstanding balances from other bank's credit/charge cards to your Citibank Ready Credit account via instalment plan.

Q: What is the difference between existing balances transfer (BT) offered by other banks and financial institutions compared with CRC BTI?

A: Under BT, you have flexibility of paying a 5% minimum sum toward the

outstanding balance in your credit card account whilst under CRC BTI, you will pay fixed and equal monthly instalments.

Q: What is the minimum amount for each credit / charge card can be transferred?

A: Minimum amount to be transferred is RM1,000 per credit / charge card.

Q: What is CRC BTI repayment tenure?

A: You can choose repayment tenure of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 48 months or any other period as Citibank may offer or approve.

Q: What if I fully settle the balance before its maturity?

A: Citibank will impose an RM100 early settlement fee on each account your have booked in the event you make a cancellation on the CRC BTI before reaching half of the tenure committed. For the avoidance of doubt, the early settlement fee will be charged on each BTI booked and subsequently terminated before reaching half of the tenure.

A: If you fail to make any CRC BTI monthly instalment in full by the due date, you will incur finance charges. If you fail to make 3 or more consecutive CRC BTI

monthly instalments in full by payment due date, the total amount due under the CRC BTI (comprising of outstanding CRC BTI instalments and total unbilled principal) together with finance charges at the Applicable Rate will be included in your outstanding balance and Citibank can declare all or part of it to be immediately due and payable by you.

Q: Will CRC BTI be eligible for any Rewards Points or Cash Rebates? A: No. the CRC BTI will not be eligible for Reward points or cash rebate.

Q: How do I cancel CRC BTI as I would like to settle all instalments immediately?

A: You can call CitiPhone at the following numbers to request for cancellation. A cancellation fee of RM100 will be charged into your CRC account if you choose to cancel the instalment before reaching half of the tenure.

PayLite FAQ

Q: What is Ready Credit PayLite?

A: It is an installment feature in Citibank Ready Credit where you can transfer your available credit limit in the Citibank Ready Credit account subject to Citibank’s approval, to Citibank or other banks’ Current or Savings account of your choice.

Q: Who is eligible to apply for a RC PayLite?

A: All RC account holders. PayLite must be applied together with RC application for non- RC account holder.

A: You can choose repayment tenure of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 48 month or any other period as Citibank may offer or approve.

Q: How do I receive the funds?

A: Funds are disbursed to Citibank or any off-us CASA account via GIRO. Manager’s Cheque is send if this disbursement failed due to unforeseen reason.

Q: Can I select to have the funds credited into separate off-us CASA account? Example, some funds to RHB and some to Maybank?

A: No, only to one account in totality and you must be the sole owner of the account.

Q: Can I request for a reduction in the interest rate after booking? A: No. The interest rate is fixed.

Q: Can I change the tenure once RC PayLite is approved? A: No. The tenure is fixed.

Can I top-up my CRC PayLite amount?

A: No. Let say the current PayLite amount is RM2,000 and the customer request another RM2,000 to be top-up on the existing PayLite. This is not allowed. The customer can apply for another PayLite amounting to RM2,000 provided the total amount of all PayLite meets the limit criteria.

Q: Can I have 2 RC PayLite installments running simultaneously? A: Yes, provided the approved CRC Credit Limit is sufficient and subject to Citibank’s approval.

Q: How do I cancel RC PayLite as I would like to settle all installments immediately?

Q: Will I be informed should RC PayLite application is not approved? A: No. However, you will receive a Payment Advice within 14 days indicating PayLite amount, Effective Interest Rate, tenure and effective date if approved.

Q: How is the interest calculated for RC PayLite?

A: The effective interest payable will be calculated from the date of approval and will be computed based on a monthly reducing balance repayment method.

Q: Are there any other fees or charges being charged? A: No. There is no Processing Fee.

Balance Refinancing FAQ

Q: What is Citibank Ready Credit Balance Refinancing?

A: It is a personal loan consolidation feature in Citibank Ready Credit.

Q: Who is eligible to apply for a Citibank Ready Credit Balance Refinancing? A: All new to bank customers with outstanding personal loan balances held with other banks with age of between 21 to 65 years old.

Q: What is the minimum and maximum Balance Refinancing amount that I can request?

A: The minimum amount is RM10,000 accumulative per application and up to a maximum of RM120,000 subject to individual credit assessment.

Q: What is the Balance Refinancing repayment tenure? A: You can choose repayment tenure of 24, 36, 48 or 60 months.

Q: How do I receive the funds?

A: Funds are disbursed to your personal loan account in other bank via GIRO.

Q: Can I request for a reduction in the interest rate? A: No. The interest rate is fixed.

Q: Once my loan has been approved can I change the tenure? A: No. The tenure is fixed.

Q: Can I apply for Balance Refinancing and PayLite / Balance Transfer via Instalment Plan simultaneously?

A: No. However, you can apply for Ready Credit instalment plan such as PayLite / Balance Transfer via Instalment Plan after your Balance Refinancing is approved.

Q: Will you be informed should the Balance Refinancing application is not approved?

A: Yes, a letter of rejection will be generated and mailed to you.

Q: How do I cancel Balance Refinancing as I would like to settle all installment immediately?
